Lethargic behaviour of Panchayat
They started to atlast put a solution and solve the issue sewage/drainge in madipakkam area. They put a notice stating that it will take one month and got sign on the Sorry for the inconvenience notice. The job of digging and constructing the manholes was done correctly however, after one week they had to come and close the manholes and clean the area as here it is a soil which does not seep/absorb water. However, the panchayat team did not bother to close the manholes. There are more than 100 families living in the Sadasiva nagar 2nd link street and they faced a terrible time during the monsoon rain which happened couple of days before and currently facing too. Around 3 people fell because of slippery surface (mud/soil became like a clay in rain water) and there is no space to walk. Drainage water running on the road along with rain water causing a major health hazard. Water lorries not coming since the road is dug, they did not clean the sewage too ...only after so many days the garbage collector is coming. School vans not coming to pick or drop the kids. Old people are not able to walk because they have not closed the manholes. If there is any medical emergency we are gone...This is a major public nuisance. We are ready to support if Panchayat team does things on time but the lethargic approach of the panchayat is causing really so much of depression amongst the public and situation is really going to go worse.
Please request someone to take action in this regard. Kindly understand our grievances. Sorry i could not take photographs however, whatever i have said is true and truth only. Anyone can visit the place to check the situation

Lethargic behaviour of Panchayat
While we appreciate the efforts of the Panchayat in laying drainage pipes, what intrigues me is the road leading to the Councillor's house is well-maintained. Does he not require drainage and water facilities to his house? Or is it that he is privileged enough not to undergo the hazards of living in pot-holes filled roads???
