SHARAF-DG Store, Deira City Centre Mall DUBAI – Fraud Seller – Absolute Cheater – Needed Global Version phone but gave me the Regional UAE iphone 7 plus which comes with Restrictions on Face time App and other features.

My name is Sripal Reddy and I was on a visit to Dubai and visited Deira city Centre Mall on 18th of March 2017. I Visited Sharaf-DG Electronics and at the Store Entry a sales person by name Shariar asked me about what am I looking for and as I was interested in the iPhone 7 plus phone, He took me to the iPhone 7 plus display and started showing the phones. I told him clearly and made him understand my requirements that I am a traveller and I am an Australian Permanent Resident and I regularly Visit and Stay in India as well, so I need a Global Version phone with all features and apps that should work in Australia and India. I also informed him that I heard of some restrictions in Dubai and some other gulf countries on the apps and features of the phone and clearly mentioned him that I don’t want the UAE region phone because I will not live there. He understood everything and then promised me that he will give me a Global version phone with international warranty and with all the features and apps working in the countries I mentioned to him. I trusted his words and bought an IPhone 7 plus 128Gb phone and paid AED 3399. The Invoice Id is SI/D01/02728/180317/00015. A day later to my utter disbelief I found the face time app is missing on the phone, I felt dejected and I realized that the sales man has cheated me and sold a Regional UAE iPhone 7 plus. I then on 20th of March I called up Sharaf-DG call center and spoken to a lady representative called Roselle and informed the same and raised a complaint. She assured me that some one from the store will call me back and resolve the issue but none of them have called me up. So I have to leave aside my other commitments and rush to the Store again to get the issue resolved. I met the store Manager called Manvinder and told him what has transpired, but to my utter disbelief and shock he was an absolute ignorant and rude with his behavior. I told him if he can’t help then I have no option but to take legal course of action against the store and the company but he was least bothered and told me do whatever I want and he doesn’t care if go to Court. I really don’t know, how could he behave like that. He is lacking basic customer service skills too and he forgot the basic concept that customer is everything for a business. It is because of customers like us he is getting paid. He definitely needs training on Customer Service skills. He was not even willing to provide full name of his and his sales person. That itself shows that these guys are cheaters. Roselle from Call Centre called me up in the evening to find out whether someone has called me up, I updated her what has transpired and informed that I will have no option but to take the matter to the court.

I am back in India on 21st of March 2017. I will stay here for few months then I will go back to Australia.
I want this issue to be taken up by the SHARAF-DG higher management Staff and resolve the issue as soon as possible. If not then I will have to send you a legal notice and take up this matter to court. I will not stop until I get the justice done.
