Product Replacement

PLEASE DONT BUY ANYTHING FROM SHARAF DG!!!

I have had a really bad experience at Sharaf DG, Bahrain. Not once but thrice. Initially i thought it was my bad luck..but the repeated incidents confirms that it is their products not my luck that has got a problem. Ill explain the second incident which eventually led to the third.
I bought an Acer laptop on 16th of June 2017 for 220 bhd and bought additional 3 year warranty for it by paying 42 Bhd extra. When brought home, we found the item was defective and took it back to the shop on 22nd June 2017, one week within the date of purchase. The shop confirmed that it was dead pixels and agreed for a replacement. They gave us a voucher and asked us to replace the product. We chose an hp laptop for 210 bhd and went home. Now after 6 months, the hp laptop's keyboard stopped working. Please note that this was within 6 months and we still had the 3 yr extended warranty along with the one year shop warranty for the same. When we took the item, the customer support agent said they will do the replacement but when we went to replace the item, the said that it was already replaced once and cannot do the replacement again.

They also informed us that they have used our extended warranty insurance for replacing the first product, without informing us, which was not at all our fault as THEY sold the DEFECTIVE ITEM and it was their duty to replace it!!! And they were not willing to replace it. After so much of argument and after involving the manager finally they agreed to replace it. But now they started their new tactic asking for the packing box which came with the product and asking 15% of the total cost of the product which is 31 bhd as we did not have the box. We said we wouldn't pay anything and again after involving the manager they agreed for the refund. But they just gave us the product price and cancelled the entire extended warranty worth 42 bhd which we have taken saying that the replacement is being done based on that warranty and once you use the warranty the warranty becomes void, which is a really new information to me and is not stated anywhere in their rules and regulations!! There were so many new policies and rules which they were making as per their convenience and as per the circumstance.

Needless to say we spend around 6 hrs at their shop, faced the rude attitude from their customer service agents and lost the 42 bhd too. Please think a hundred times before u decide to purchase anything from this shop and if you value your money and time.

Laptop no Ethernet port

Hello,

I bought a laptop HP Pavilion 360 11U002NEP3T60EA yesterday evening, There is no ethernet port i want to ask why i was not informed about this by the sales person, Kindly advice i want to return this and get another Laptop.
