I purchased a home with Silstone counter tops in 2005. In 2011 we discovered a swelling in the material and soon thereafter the material popped out leaving a small pit. When it happened 2 more times I filed a warranty claim with Viana Smith in the Silstone customer service department. The claim was accepted and Ms. Smith assured me that someone would be out to look and the damage and arrange repairs. No one ever came and sometime later I received an email to the effect that we had caused the damage and it was not covered by the warranty. They have been unresponsive since.
The Silstone warranty appears to be worthless!
