On Jan17th i rented an Opel Corsa at the Shlomo Sixt Ramat Hahayal branch. On Saturday Jan. 19th at around 11.45 i parked the car in a carpark near Ganei Hatarucha in Tel Aviv and not far from the branch itself and attended a private event not far from this location. Upon return to the car at around 1.00 pm i was surprised to find that the car would not start. As it was a Saturday, the only branch open was at Ben Gurion airport to whom i called and notified them that the car they gave me wont start and that i was leaving the car in the carpark as i had further commitments to meet that day and could not hang around to fix their car.

At around 15.30 the same day i received a call from a technician that wanted me to go wait by the car for him to come and fix it. I explained to him that i was at an event and could not leave in order to meet him and he was welcome to collect the car keys from me so that they could collect their faulty car. The technician flat our refused without any alternative solution and so the car sat in the car park all night.

The next morning, Jan20th, i contacted the branch in order to let them know where the car wasto return the keys and to tell them that as they failed to supply a car that works or a replacement vehicle i would require a refund for the day that i had to take taxis in stead of the car i had hired.

Their reply was that not only would i have to go and get the car myself, i would have to pay for the parking
and they would charge me an extra day.

The idea of renting a car is that you don't have to take taxis and the car should work. If it doesn't how could you possibly expect me to dedicate my time to fixing your car. Not only did i not receive the service i hired, i had extra expenses in taxis and wasted time but your customer service instead of apologizing and trying to find a satisfactory solution decided to charge me extra. What kind of customer services is that??
