increased Mortgage because of escrow shortage.

Ever since SLS) Specialized Loan Servicing became the service for this loan; there has been a series of discrimination and unfair treatment that the attorney in fact has been enduring from this new loan service. There is an outstanding Water and Sewage amount owed to the Department of Environmental Control currently for the sum of $18000. There is a payment arrangement between the Dept of environmental Control and the attorney in fact to make regular scheduled monthly in addition to the agreement amount which is currently in effect.
The Service (SLS) Specialized Loan Service for this Loan notified the homeowner in writing about the delinquent amount of $18000 that they claim was brought to their attention by the Dept of Environmental control for sewage and water
The attorney in fact then visited the Dept of Environmental Control to address the issue by entering into a payment agreement. That agreement mentioned above along with other documents from the Dept Of environmental Control was then forwarded to (SLS) Specialized Loan Service by attorney in fact Service (SLS) continued sending more correspondence to the borrower demanding the full payment of 18000 despite the current payment agreement. The service(SLS) Specialized Loan Service also said “If the amount is not paid in full, immediately they (SLS) Specialized Loan Servicing will then force pay the amount and the homeowner will be given 1 year to repay the $18000, which will then be divided by 12 months. The Dept of Environmental control has given the borrower 10 years to complete the payment and there is no lien on the property and neither will one be placed at any given point in time. I was told by SLS loan Service that they do not honor payment arrangement to the Dept of water and sewage so they made the total payment due to the water company of $18,000. Now I cannot make the mortgage payment because of the enormous increase because I had a modification and that’s according to HUD guideline. That if I had an escrow shortage that was already spread over time even if that payment has been collected I am still not eligible for any more escrow payment arrangement.
The reason For this letter is to explain all the unjustified behavior of (SLS) to the homeowner even after the homeowner gave them (SLS) Specialized Loan service copy of the current payment agreement, they still insist on making the payment which will then place the home owner at risk of defaulting on the mortgage payments because of the increase that will then happen on the mortgage payments monthly.
SLS claimed that they are doing this because they are trying to prevent a lien from being placed on the property by the Dept of Finance or anyone else for unpaid water and sewage usage. I sent them with documentation that the Dept of Environment Control gave me explaining that under the new legislation They no longer place liens on any single family home even for non payments, neither will they sell the delinquent amount to any 3rd party whether it’s being paid or not; Even if they have done so in the past that stipulation no longer exists. No more liens for single dwelling property under no circumstance.
SLS still insists that they don’t care about all that they will still proceed with making the payment and then increase the mortgage payments by an enormous amount. This action is unacceptable discrimination because they became upset that I kept calling on the same matter and told me they are refusing to let me speak to a supervisor when I requested one. I get the feeling they are trying to force the loan into default because when you take me away from my current agreement of 10 years then place yours of 1 year that’s a great difference.
They are always rude, there is never a supervisor available,you will never get any resolution from them for any issues or discrepancies you may encounter.
