Lost data of employees

Hi,
I had worked for this IT company named soft production 2011. I approached them for getting details for my provident fund, they say we don't have details.
Provident fund office people are rejecting it because the joining date is wrong, even my name is wrongly spelled.
How irresponsible on a part of company. Can any one help me getting my provident fund.I have pf number with me.
