Horrific experience that has left me traumatized. I had botched surgery on several areas of my body. 2 revision surgeries were done and the areas are still there! One by Dr Dillon that still wasnt fixed and the next by the Cheif of Sonobello. I also have complete sensation loss to the bottom of my left calf. And apparently Dr. Dillon has done this to several patients and the other Drs in the office are fixing his botched work. He was "let go" from St Louis SonoBello. He should NOT have a license to do surgery! It scares me to think he is still a surgeon. The Chief Executive of SonoBello had to fly in on a day to meet me AND several people who had botched surgeries from Dr Dillon. I was scared and nervous and very upset about my leg and the other areas that were clearly and definitely messed up. When he met with me he was not sympathetic or never apologized for what I had been through. When I said, "Will Dr Dillon have repercussions for this?" He answered, "Repercissions like lose his license? I don't do that. He did a mediocre job." I thought really?? Mediocre??? So that's why you had to fly in to try to fix all these areas? In fact, a surgeon that worked in the same office refused to do my revision because he was so upset with the outcome that Dr Dillon did. He was afraid to furthermore make the areas worse. He quote said, "Its too much of a Liability." When I started crying in front of him and the office manager while they looked at my almost naked body, I said, "I am so upset right now and he said in a very stern voice, "You think I don't know that?!" That is a lot of why the Cheif had to fly in to do my surgery. He then said to me that I have gained weight and I said yes...he said "well I mean...we could always come back and say that you gained weight." I said, "The weight gain was AFTER the botched surgery. It has no relevance to his poor work." He never said a word...I left in tears....the Cheif rescheduled my surgery with no explanation from the staff. I was only notified a week prior after the fact that I had gotten days off from work and then lost those hours...the day of my surgery I was so scared I cried when I went in. My blood pressure was elevated because I was so overwhelmed. I felt like the only way to fix this is to do this surgery. I had the surgery last Dec. I've been called one time and that's it.... it will be a year in about 4 months....the areas are STILL botched. I was promised before all of this that I would receive free tightening and toning treatments...as if that was enough...then they never did them. I'm 27yrs old and I put over $20,000 into these surgeries. Only to have a messed up hip where too much fat was taken out and way smaller than the other, messed up calf that was smaller than the other one with an area that was dented in where too much fat was taken out. On my revision he had to do a fat transfer in one part of the leg because it was so bad. My upper and lower abdomen is uneven where too much fat was taken out then not enough so it looks rough. The public area is lumpy. I had my "banana rolls" or under my buttcheeks done and fat was missed on both sides. I have put so much money into this and I am still paying debt from botched surgery that has left me traumatized. I can't even get it paid off because the interest is charging me almost $200 after every payment through a loan company that they use. I'm so depressed and sick about it and yet scared about what to do. I need justice and I haven't received it. Being a nursing school student and having 2-3 jobs at a time is a lot. And then I had to go through this. Not to mention th surgeries were painful. Because you are AWAKE during them. I remember several times laying on the table saying "Ow, Ow, Ow" and in tears and asking for more numbing injections. Some of which were not given to me...I remember EVERYTHING. Please do not go to SonoBello for liposuction. I was mistreated by 3 different surgeons and the manager was hard to get ahold of. Every time I would call, they would say she was in a meeeting or busy and No call back. So sad. I will be taking legal action.

I had this procedure done in 2014 and noticed immediately after the procedure inflammation and fluid that remained trapped in my abdomen. I wish I never allowed them to talk me into the procedure. For the past 3 years has been a nightmare with pain, loss range of motion with my legs, pelvic area and psosas muscle hips and lower back. I visit the Sono Bello nearest to location in Delaware which is over 2 hours away in Wayne Penn. north of Philadelphia. I scheduled a free consultation since I had my 2 C-sections over 20 years ago. I haven’t heard anything from them since they took my money and sent me home after being told I have to have lymphatic draining massages for 6 months. I have spent thousands of dollars since to get relief from the pain including physical therapy for months. Can anyone help me?

On December 3, 2016, I got microlaser lipo done in my top, middle, and waist in my abdominal area and the free area was my pubic area. Dr. Azarian said that most patients go back into work on the third day. She also told me that I would have a “slight overlay” in my abdominal area after the procedure. She told me that most patients wear the garment for at least 3 months and all day long. She told me to not diet and just eat whatever I want. In the procedure, I told Dr. Azarian that the procedure was very painful. She said well talk about something else and don’t think about it. Is this how a surgeon resolves how I feel? Honestly, I thought it was extremely rude, insensitive, and unprofessional. Dr. Azarian insisted that I remove fat from the pubic area instead of the upper arm fat. Mind you, the upper arm fat looks disgusting and unappealing. After the procedure the office staff especially Jianara, the front desk receptionist was very curt and rude. I called the fourth or fifth day after the surgery telling how that this garment is way too tight and it is suffocating my sternum. She said, I am not giving you the more comfortable and expensive one at our office and don’t you want to spend your money right for once? Excuse me, it is none of anyone’s business what or how I spend my money? So she told me that I had to come in and get another less comfortable garment. I told her excessively that I needed to meet with the physician. She wouldn’t give me an appointment with the physician and instead I saw a nurse. I asked the nurse, so is this normal? My stubborn fat area has a major overlay. The nurse couldn’t answer the question and said instead, you should have seen the physician. I get done with my appointment and again Jianara is at the front desk, she sat there arguing with me that none of the patients see the physician at the 3-month follow-up and you only see the nurse. I told her that doesn’t matter, I demanded to see the physician and you still made an appointment for me to see the nurse. She argued with me for 30 minutes. In the meantime, I suffered mental health severely such as anxiety and depression. I got really depressed that I dropped $5,000 dollars for this wasteful procedure and my stubborn fat in my abdominal area still looks the same. In fact, the slight overlay of fat is at least 3 inches around. I have a thick jelly roll. The microlaser lipo procedure disfigured my body. The slight overlay is bulging forward and the fat is so hard that I have been at the gym for the past 3-4 months and I can’t lose it. I dieted since March of 2017, my diet consists of 5 liters of water, tofu, salmon, vegetables, and fruits. If I didn’t diet or exercise, I would have been a 200 lb whale. There is no change in my pubic area. I knew in my heart that I wanted the upper arm fat removed but Dr. Azarian was adamant that I wouldn’t see a change. Shouldn’t it be up to the patient’s decision at the end? When I had an issue with the surgery or the office staff, only Jessica the sales coordinator would phone call me to resolve the problem. I am sorry but Jianara should be fired and the doctor should go back to school. I have gone to other surgeons who have worked for Sonobello and they have told me that I have gotten ripped off. My mom and sisters see no change in my abdominal area. I have been so depressed and even Sonobello has been forcing me to do a noninvasive procedure and to do a 6 month followup. Well 8 months have gone by and it isn’t right or fair for Sonobello to take my 8 month pictures to make a final decision if I get a refund or not. I had to diet and exercise for the past 4 months or so. I didn’t go back for a 6 month followup due to the rude and unprofessional staff and the surgeon apparently doesn’t work there anymore. I am extremely dissatisfied with the microlaser lipo. Now 3-4 inches thick jelly roll has hardened. It is so hard for me to lose it. Sonobello said that after this procedure, I don’t need a tummy tuck. The fat is so hard, it is going to take me at least 2-3 years to lose that fat in the gym. I don’t need another surgeon to make a judgment call. I want a full refund of $4,800 because my medical reasoning is that I suffered extreme mental health and disfigurement from the microlaser lipo procedure. I see my stomach every day when I get out of the shower or change clothes in the mirror. It makes me feel depressed that I didn’t in my stomach area, angry that I got ripped off, and hurt how I was mistreated from Sonobello. I have been extremely depressed and anxious that my physician had to increase my dosage. I have read complaints on Sonobello in Tampa, Florida. Let’s not forget that this is the same company that was sued for killing a patient due to lidocaine toxicity. Sonobello gave the family $1.8 million or more just to put things under the rug and continue their business. I declined getting another procedure done by Sonobello even if it is noninvasive, they have done such a horrible job already. I don’t want to go with a repeat or go through excruciating pain. Other patients are right, their painkillers were a joke. The 3rd day after my surgery, I was crying in agony…I had to call out of work. Even the 4th day back to work, I was in extreme pain. Also, my swelling lasted more than 6 months. To me, that is abnormal. I wasn’t lifting or doing anything unusual. Hopefully, I am not bruising inside still and causing more damage to my body. Sonobello only knows how to rip off patients and their patients are just numbers, they don’t really care about us, if they did, they should refund all the bad and dissatisfying procedures such as mine. Please contact your local news and tweet about Sonobello ripping us off and not caring! My stomach area is deformed and bumpy as well. The distorted image as affect my mental health severely with the diagnosis of severe anxiety and severe depression. Please do not get anything done at Sonobello.

I am very active. I exercise and lift weights. I went to Sono Bello looking for something to help fix my lower abdomen section. They promised that it would work, and get rid of that "problem area." What I was left with was a bumpy and disformed stomach area. It is a lot worse than before I had the surgery. I talked to the dr about it every time I went in for a check up, but he said it was my fault that it wasn't looking the way they had promised. I feel like my body was ruined, and I was misled as to what the results would be. I just want my money back. Is there anything we can do?

it has been 2 years since my lipo, I did my inner thighs, outer thighs, top and bottom abdomen and hips. 10,000.00, there was a picture of a lady on the wall, starting weight was close to mine, she looked fabulous, I asked how she looked so good..the picture said she had the same stuff done as me...they said it really works.
i wore the garments and took the bruising medicine, 2 years later all i have is saggy skin, i keep thinking it will tighten up, i can't even wear a swimsuit or shorts, my knees are bigger than they were my hips are disproportioned, i have a lump on my lower abdomen that is bigger than the other side, i asked my doctors pa (she used to work for a plastic surgeon) she said that what they do is barbaric, they are suppose to move the fat around so it's not lumpy, and they don't put you under so they don't have to pay the ins the should.

I am totally ashamed and embarrassed , it's hard for me to be intimate w my husband. How can i afford to get this fixed? We are almost empty nesters and want to travel but i can't enjoy myself looking like this.. it's just not right.

I had stomach, inner thighs, under arms and it all wrinkled after wearing the spandex attire for a year+. I look like a 95 year old woman. I cannot wear a two piece swim suit, have to wear long pants and tops that cover my arms. I want to sue!

After procedures I had done to my stomach bra roll waist back and $9000 later I never felt worst than before I did the procedure.
For one thing you can feel the prejudice of the office. I was the last patient of the day felt like my doctor rush me to get out I never saw any results after the procedure or even for my follow up treatment, I also did the laser hoping it would help the process along but it was a waste of money and their excuse? U gain weight which was a lie all they claim in their ads are false they are a thief my own PCP told me to get my money back I had other Drs opinion and no one including myself saw any results or can believe I had any work done I'm disappointed to the fullest and I should be compensated for not being satisfied and more.

Thank you all for these very honest, accurate reviews. As a skeptic of any TV infomercial, I figured it was all a hoax, but called them anyway to get more information. That was a waste of time (thank goodness, not money), and then researched reviews here on the web. I agree that this company should be put out of business, and wish there were a way to get the word out to EVERYONE suckered in by their FAKE presentations to avoid Sono Bello like the plague. All they will lose is their money!

I had Smart Lipo done on my upper/lower abs and waist two days ago with Dr. Susann Bedford. I was quite nervous after reading some of the reviews for Sono Bello, but I decided to give them a try. My consultant Sahara was great and so was my Pre-Op Nurse Maia. The other nurses who were very helpful during my procedure was Tiffany and Mo. This team did an amazing job keeping me calm! They were very helpful. Maia did a great job reassuring me that all will be well.

Now to discuss my results: I can't believe I wasted $6,600!! I really wanted to look great for my upcoming wedding, but I feel worse than I did prior to the surgery. My Fiancé and I are looking at my body, and my lower Abs look completely the same! I am very upset that I have put my body through this unnecessary, expensive, torture! Initially I thought that my results were favorable because my waist looks smaller! Well, that's about the only thing that looks like I had even a little work done! I think they purposely do not take enough fat out to make you come back! I wish I had heeded the warning from other victims, but like always I seem to have to learn the hard way. I went to the Boston Sonobello located in Woburn, ma.
Had my upper and lower abdomen, waist, hips, arms, bra roll, and inner thighs done in two procedures. Had my 3 month follow up yesterday 5-25-17 no changes . my bra roll looks worse, there is large scar tissue that formed in my upper and lower abdomen. My waist shows no changes, my legs nothing, my arms are the only things that show a slight improvement. I started at 215.6 lbs , yesterday at 5pm I weighed in at 212. I have no thyroid, I watch everything I eat, I drink tons of water. Yesterday I was told that I need to lose 10 lbs over the next three months for my 6 month and final follow up. I work out regularly, I went in because I couldn't seem to shrink anymore. If I go on a liquid diet that is the only way I can lose anything. They said I would see drastic changes and I see none. I went in to improve myself. I came out $11,440.00 poorer, no changes, other than looking worse and my skin hurting even now in every area they worked on. Yesterday I was told I was 70% healed, I'm disgusted and so upset. I'm going to contact a lawyer this is terrible.

I wasted 5000 and I want my money back!

I agree with all of you guys. Had smart lips done Dec 31, 2016 and paid for lower and up abdomen. I had the proceedure done and it's now May. I see no diffrance I wasted 5,000 for no reason. I'm trying to find a lawyer that will help me place a lawsuit against them. I do not recommend this place to anybody they are fake. Sorrnobello of Orlando is just there to get your money.

I had my surgery in my lower back, side n tummy about a year and a half ago. I was considering my upper back to take care of my bra rolls, when the sales person said it wasnt needed and the doctor would smoorh that area. That was one of the reasons i went to Sono Bello in the first place-because I was self conscious of my back. Immediately when I went for the post check up I complained of my results. My bra rolls were MORE noticeable once they lipo my lower back and they stopped short right at my waist, leaving me looking like a 2 layered cake. I was told it was too early and I was still swollen so had to wait for swelling to go down. Well, I went back at 6 months and the doctor was not empathetic to my needs. I was told in a nutshell that I got what I paid for and the bra roll and the "hips" were a separate area and we're not included. If I wanted it fixed, I would need to pay. Had I been told that by the sales person upfront, I would have because I had the money at the time, but that money was gone. So now I am stuck looking worse and less natural than before and find myself wearing loose fitting clothes to hide imperfections. Unfortunately I don't just have thousands of dollars to get it fixed. If there is a class action lawsuit against Sono Bello, please count me in.

If they can afford to advertise every five minutes on all tv stations then they are charging way too much and boy am i sick of seeing them.

Before I purchase anything , I go on line and read the reviews. I had considered having laser surgery on my torso , front and back , though sono bello. Thanks to all of you who have been honest and brave in sharing your experiance . You guys have not only saved me thousands of dollars, but save me from being .mentally and physically abused . I agree with both of you and had a horrific experience at Sono Bello in Scottsdale, AZ. Everyone I met with prior to surgery explained that I would be awake and feel a tugging sensation. During the procedure while my upper abs were being worked on, that statement was true, I felt tugging with no pain. When the doctor moved to my lower abs, I felt excruciating pain and told her so she could numb the area. Her reply was, "you're suppose to feel pain". I was shocked and said to her, "this is unbearable, I can feel burning and sharp stabbing". She then said if I did not stop complaining she would stop the procedure. Being half sedated, I remember thinking, if she stops now, what will my body look like? I endured levels of pain that are clearly inhumane and unecessary. Especially when the surgeon is performing cosmetic elective procedures that are being paid in full by the patient. As responsible consumers, you are correct in stating, "They need to be stopped...". I have not figured out the correct coarse of action to take for retribution and exposure of this practice. I certainly welcome reasonable and professional advice.

Oh my god your doctor and my doctor went to the same school.The same thing happened to me in 2010. My surgeon started operating on me before the medication could start working, . He placed the gas mask on my neck but never used it . Doctor Shideler (of Sacramento Sonobello) started operating on me before the pain medication took effect. The pain was horrific. I yelled at Doctor Shideler to stop. I told him that I was felling everything and that he was hurting me. He just continued working and smiling. The pain that I experienced is something that I'll never forget. It felt like a rake was under my skin ripping me apart. I kept yelling at him to stop.My stomach is deformed like yours and there is area's he forgot to do. If you compare sides, one side is larger then the other. They said that the skin will tighten but it never happened.
The cost to fix his errors will cost me roughly $15, 000 to $20, 000 dollars. That doesn't even include the mental harm he did.
I THINK WE SHOULD GET TOGETHER AND SUIT . They need to be stopped and I'm serious.

First, the doctor I chose when I booked what was supposed to be 'Smart Lipo' was not the doctor that was there to perform it. The front desk girls assured me he was good. Then they were running behind schedule because the girl before me was having a bad reaction to the drugs. When I was being prepared I asked for something for nausea to prevent that from happening to me. Dr. Gael De Rouin suggested I just to it with out pain medicine.

At the last minute the nurse brought me a pill and said, "you are going to need it." By then they were rushing me on the table before the pill kicked in. They turned on the tumeric machine and began pumping it in so fast I could feel my skin being ripped from my body. I begged him to slow down the machine. He ignored me. The nurse finally turned it down and held my hand as I felt every bit of horrific pain. I still have nightmares. Dr. DeRouin ruined my stomach. He rushed through and just made a mess. Now I have a deformed abdomen. He over corrected in some spots and under in others. I wish I still had the pooch now. Now I have no choice but do seek a way to fix this mess.
