Failed to repair/replace product

I purchased new Sony Receiver Model No. XDRF1HD S/N 128235 on October 21, 2011 from Amazon.com. The receiver stopped working on or about November 20, 2011. I contacted Amazon.com, they offered to refund my purchase but could not replace the receiver because they had no more in inventory. I then took the receiver to Sony Hawaii on November 29, 2011 (work order no. 300780027). Sony told me the receiver is in warranty and Sony would repair or replace the receiver at no cost to me (Customer Acct. No. 1078519). I have contacted Sony 6 times (Customer Service Representative Lang). I was told each time the product is being handled by his manager who is in a meeting and will get back to me. I have never been called back. It is now 4 months and no resolution is in sight.
