I would like to warn everybody about www.staminus.net and their dodgy hosting practices.

They offer DDOS protection, but they also FAKE the amount of attacks on your site, keeping you a slave to their services (at least you think you need them).

They offer a panel for customers to see how often your site is under attack. In my case, 90% of the attacks were fake. After moving to another hoster, all the sudden pretty much all those daily DDOS attack stopped.

It's a mirracle? No certainly not, it's MATT, Staminus.net's owner playing games with you.

Apart from those attacks, their network is terribly slow compared to competitors, and has an up-time of less than 99%. Some months I even saw around 95%.

Even though they promise 99.9%, in the 10 months that I was with them, not once did I get even close to that number.

STAY AWAY! If you need DDOS protection, look elsewhere than staminus!
