I went to the shop to request for service to remove the camera and replace mid-plate of blackberry bold 9780. The salesperson attended to me name Elaine Tan said it would cost $50 and I asked for a lower price she agreed at $40. 30 minutes later when I go back to collect the phone, the camera was removed but the mid-plate was still my original. When probed, she insist she quoted price for camera removal exclusive of mid-plate. She claims that the price of replacing the mid-plate will cost another $50. I refused the offer and she insist that i pay for the service because she has to pay the technician. When asked to see her technician, she said the office is restricted. She then kept the phone and refuse to give me back.

Such scams is common in sim lim square and I urge relevant authorities to take action before it destroys the reputation of the country.

Hi, I do also had a really bad experience with star one mobile. And has just reported it to Singapore Small Claim Tribunal. Hopefully the government can do something with this. I would suggest you to do the same
