Unsatisfactory Customer Service

I spent all day talking to customer service representative in technical support named Luna who could not help me and she kept me waiting on the line for over and hour for a supervisor who was helping another rep.

Then I was transferred to the credit card department and after just 5 minutes of trying to explain to him "Roxan", what was going on for the last 6 months he says as of 12/7/15 that my credit card was declined...............which had already been established several times and every person that I talked to today I had to explain over and over that this incident is not just for this month but for the last 6 months that I was supposed to have been enrolled in auto refill and I was not getting auto refill but being charged $49.41 instead of the $46.70 with the auto refill savings.

So every month I expected my phone to be getting auto refilled and every month for the last 6 month I have had my phone deactivated due to the Straight talk auto refill program not working properly. We went over authorization with my bank, my credit card number, being in a different area come on, this is satellite service! Don't let them try that one on you! We even went over the card being declined and all were no fault of mine but the fact that straight talk has a problem with auto refill on my phone every 30 days.

I explained to them that every transaction both the initial auto refill from them and the automated or online transaction that I had to make after my phone was deactivated used the same credit card at the same bank within a day or so after they tried to take out the money with auto refill and for some reason it declined my card (?). Within a day or so I used the same card and and extra $2.71 to reactivate my phone and re-enroll in auto refill!

I demanded to talk to a supervisor and on my fourth attempt to call back after being disconnected the woman answering the phone said, "I am a corporate supervisor" (her name is Ellyn)......I asked if she was in Miami as I used the address for the corporate office to get this last phone number and still I was talking to someone in the Philippines! So after explaining all over again what she had in notes right in front of her..............her resolution was to extend me airtime! I said airtime? I have unlimited airtime.............you don't pay for that........I do and how is that a refund?

Then she tries to tell me they will escalate the problem and get me my $5 back for the holiday promotion that I also did not get this month for signing up with auto refill (an offer through the automated system when I had to refill my deactivated service today)! I said no, that is not acceptable to me and I expect a refund for the last 6 months and at a auto refill discount of $2.50/month X 6 months and $5 promotions for this month plus the overcharge this month of the discounted $2.50 for auto refill, that amounts to $22.50 and that is what I told her I expect to get not in credit for minutes or a simple $5 for this month but a check or credit back to my credit card or my straight talk account for the $22.50 and I told her I would not accept any less!!!

After all said and done. They only agreed to refund $2.71(3 months of over charging me) plus $5.00 for the holiday promotional $5.00 for the first 3 months if you sign up today for auto refill so with the holiday promotion that I signed up for today, that's $5 off for Dec(which is part of my refund), $5.00 for Jan and Feb....then $2.50 for the remaining months...........doesn't say how long that is! And my call with Ellyn ended promptly at 5pm Eastern time. Oh she was waiting for the system to update something and just kept me on the phone for another 20 minutes doing that.

Now the solution is that someone from the escalation department will be calling me back to let me know the results of this all day episode of an valued 8 year customer for a scant $13.13!

Now time to look for another phone provider~!

PS> I also learned while on the many calls today that my protection plan that I got with my phone I purchased last year is void any time your service is deactivated.............a convenient way to drop the protection plan would be to deactivate your phone while your using auto refill..........NO?
