Transfer to new phone
My fiance bought a new straight talk phone to upgrade to have a better one. Calls customer service to help do the transfer over. Straight talk also sent a new SIM card to us for the new phone. While trying to switch over to upgrade the lady tells us there's no phone towers where we live. So she can't transfer over. Ok so we ask how do our phones we have now through straight talk work just fine here. Then proceeds to tell us she can't activate there own phone and SIM card from them that we received. We've been with straight talk two years I believe and this is how we are treated. We ask for a manager. She says she is the only employee there today at a customer service call center. Plus we can hear talking and laughing with people in the back ground. We want to report her she says there is no way to do so corporate does not have me phones. Well how did I call and report you to corporate already. Then after all this puts us on hold and never came back. The icing on the cake is my fiance phone she had already deactivated and the phone we were ganna transfer too obviously ain't going to work. How does one day they can't do anything about there own products because of towers. The SIM card controls the activation and your plan through straight talk. But we have no towers. She called us back right before the incident took place I was on my straight talk phone this is garbage and not the first problems with them. How much business loss are you gonna except before you reprimand and reteach your customer service team to provide service to its customers.

Customer Service
I've been with Straight Talk for years. I just bought a Samsung Galaxy 5 two weeks ago and the battery gets super hot, screen too. I don't leave my WiFi or data on when I'm not using it (using the phone or when the display is off), I don't let apps run in the background, I only have it sync once a day, I never turn on location services, no live wallpaper, screen timeout is at 1 minute, my touch keys don't light up, no Bluetooth or GPS...etc...I know how to save battery power. I had them set it up at Walmart, so I wouldn't have to do it. Needless to say, customer service WAS JUST A NIGHTMARE!!! They always want me to call from a different phone so they can check certain "things" & turn my phone on & off for an hr. I asked her like what? & oh my she didn't like that! I told her my battery isn't damaged, my phone works, but I just need a new battery. I was very polite, until the end. I pay $300 for a phone and it's my fault the battery is defective and doesn't charge??? I go to bed with 100% & wake up to 94%. And the heat that comes out of this phone is not right! I said, "I'll just buy a new battery myself and "beep" off. Horrible, just horrible!!!!
