For data recovery, you can try the data recover software’s. If the data is very important and you want to recover it, there is possibility to cover by data recovery companies.

Thanks for reply WD people. Its internal purple drive.

I tell you the situation, 15 days ago there some kind of noise in my drive and I didn't care about so much. After few days ago, its dead, I am not able to access or do anything. My friend told me to replace the port and try in different computer. I tried all troubleshooting steps but it’s not worthy. So help me on this or replace your product.

Hi ravidas,

I am sorry to hear about it. Based on your post, I’d like to know if you are using an internal or external HDD? Does it show up in the Disk Management? Is there any error message? If possible, please provide a snapshot and the specific error message. For the meantime, you may try to run WD Data Lifeguard Diagnostics software utility, to confirm that the HDD is working properly and there is no bad sector.
