Went off work with excruciating migraines. Would last 3-7 days at a time couldn't function at work.
They paid for 9 days then cut me off asking for more medical documentation. Referred to neurologist which wait time is months. They denied my claim for those 4 days. I went back to work against my doctors orders as I can't handle the stress of we may pay you we may not. It's hullshit. I have to appeal now for my 4 days pay and I have to continue to work with my migraines. I went back because I can't handle this stress and I'm single I have a mortgage to pay so I am forced to suffer when doctor doesn't want me at work. What do I do? Lawyer would cost more then my 4 days pay in the end. And it cost me $50 every time I get a doctor to fill out the short term paperwork only to have them deny I'm out $150 and almost a weeks pay already. Any ideas???
The whole point of going on short term is to help you not upset and stress you out even more.
