Unauthorized inquiry

PayPal has made an unauthorized inquiry into my credit report using the name of Syncb/ppc. I never made an application for credit from PayPal or Synch/ppc. PayPal has caused my credit score to drop precipitously. Is there a way for me to purge this inquiry from my report?
