Had to move to England and let my car payments slide. Only owed 1700 balance. GMAC sold this to these scumbags. They sent me a letter to settle. They gave me a reduced amount and said as soon as it was paid they would send me the pinkslip. Well, after payment was made, they refused to send the pinkslip. Said they no longer owed the debt and had sold it to someone else. I requested they send my money back and they just laughed. Now my car is listed as a ghost car... no information anywhere on it. Even GMAC doesn't show that they sold this car. Car has been sitting in our yard for years now because we can't get it registered. Don't go with these scumbags.

These guys are scammers, and if they are ligit then they scam as a past time! I paid off my student loans years ago. As a matter of fact if you are behind on them it's taken out of your income tax return. They are trying to get $7300 out of me as a settlement for a $14,700 school debt. Funny thing is...the school doesn't even have locations in PA where I live! I don't know how many people have already been scammed by these guys, but don't trust them!! Contact the company first and if they can refer you to them then maybe your account is legit. But I can tell you, if I had not been smart these guys would be walking away with $7000 oof my hard earned money! BE AWARE!!

i need to know if these guts are ligit, i need to call bbb also cause i recieved a letter offering a settlement for some old visa in my husbands name from yr 2000, i asked why im just gettin this 12 yrs later, they say "could be numorous reasons, sold to several different creditors ect." but im also 90% sure i settled this in "05" with other attorneys because i was tryin to get allthese old credits takin care of & was being threatened of being taken to court so we were forced to settle a work comp case (we were winning, so he could get surgery) so we could get the attorneys off our case. but scince i dont have this reciept anymore (didnt think i needed 7 YRS LATER) now im worried these guys will screw up our credit even tho its suppose to be against the law after 6 yrs to put it on our credit report,& these attorneys charge $ just to ask thes simple questions anymore. i just finished cleaning our report so we can work on gettin a home for our children & out of this trailor park (trailor is fallin apart) so please tell me before i return their call on this matter if i can truly tell them i found out their not ligit or they need to provide me with ALL THIER proof of every so called creditor whose had this debt from "2000
