telecircuit fraud

Received a phone call from a woman saying she was from AT&T and they were switching our phone account to a smaller company because they were restructuring. She explained I would keep all services but fee would be $39. a month since they were a smaller company, but full service. I said alright and she had me say yes on a recording. She said a representative from Telecircuit would be calling to verify the change. I have beginning stages of dementia and am embarrassed to say I didn't realize this was improbable. A man of Indian accent called and said he would be recording conversation. He said I would be accepting Telecircuit services and be charged a fee of $39 monthly instead of AT&T services. He asked me to tell him my address for verification. No mention of payment or how it would handled. Assumed it would be by bill. He then said he would have me verify acceptance to his supervisor. I said yes when he asked if I accepted it and he said for verification he needed the last four of my SSN. I gave him the last four thinking it was safe. It was a fast phone call. Then I started thinking the men on the phone sounded like the same man. And started thinking suspiciously. Called AT&T and they knew nothing about it. Contacted bank and told them what happened and asked them not to accept any direct auto pay requests without calling me. Now I think I should call paypal also, thought I don't use it for phone bill just usually autopay. Very upset with myself. Will be watching all bills, accounts and check with paypal.

Phone company refuses to disconnect service .

I contacted telecircuit on9/6/2017 to disconnect my home phone service and was told it would be off within 24 hours. Two months later my phone service has still not been disconnected and now they billing me for these months as well. They have also been harassing myself and my husband at work on his cell about a bill we now have because they refuse to disconnect our service. I have contacted this company numerous times and get nothing but a run around. All they will say is there is a work order in place for disconnection but it's now 11/01/2017, and it's still on. The people at this company are rude and dishonest and they do not deserve to be in business if they are going to rip people off.
