Treatment was a horrible experience. I was told I would have 3 sessions of individual therapy. I only had two. the therapist was not interested in treating anything other than an eating disorder. I was there for depression and PTSD, The programs that I was told would be available to me, such as art therapy, pet therapy, etc. were discontinued in my lodge two days after I arrived.
The financial/intake process was the worst ever. You have to give a credit card at time of admission. You are told that they will not charge your credit card unless you are informed prior to the charge. My credit card was charged three times for medication I didn't need. I returned the medication to the pharmacy (because I had brought all my medication with me.) I am still waiting for a refund several weeks later.

Im going to Timberline Knolls is a few weeks. Im so back and forth on going. Im willing to accept the treatment to see if they can really help me. But over the phone they have already broke some confidentiality rules. Once I confronted them about it I was informed " Since you are not on our campus yet, we have no confidentiality." Im nervous that they will break that also when im there. Ive NEVER heard that before, anywhere Ive been the moment your over the phone or in person intake starts they have to follow the confidential laws.
After my stay Ill try to report if there was any problem. But Im hope there will be none. This place almost looks and sounds to good to be true. I hope it is good.
