At the Gunbarrel Home Depot in Chattanooga tn, an employee at the tool rental desk shrugged me off and was entirely unhelpful in assisting me with tool rental. His name was Rick and he told me coldly that he couldn’t run the card over the phone even though the previous day their employees had done the same for me. He gave me the impression I was a bad customer and rudely brushed me off. In addition a manager came upon his request and didn’t even acknowledge me or my request to pay via phone, no one expressed the issue clearly and I overheard Rick tell a manager over the phone that the pro member wasn’t here, that I was just his assistant, not knowing that I also have my own pro account but was doing a service for another company. I am totally turned off by this and will reconsider using this Home Depot preferring Lowe’s for superior and unbiased customer service.
