Refused to exchange

We went to TOTALSPORTS Irene Mall to exchange my daughter's pants but the Manager Precious Machoga refused to exchange due to loadsheddding and being offline.

I asked her to exchange manually and went system is back she will capture the information she refused which i don't understand because it was returning size 11-12 and taking size 9-10.

I bought the pants in Menlyn few weeks ago and they did not have the size hence we decided to drive to Irene Mall to exchange and my daughter was excited when we got the right size but unfortunately we left the shop very sad and angry and other shops next to Totalsports they were operating normally even during loadsheddding

Refused exchange due to loadsheddding

I went to Totalsports Irene Mall 09 June 2023 to exchange my daughter's track pants which I bought at Menlyn.
The Manager Precious Machoga was rude and refused to exchange and informed us they are offline I can only buy the right size? How on earth do I take money to buy second same item of something I already have?

The Manager told me I can buy manually cash and exchange what I have later. I told her if she can sell me another pants manually why she can't exchange manually a transaction which does not involve cash and when the system is back she will capture exchange transaction later. She still refused.

What make me angry is we come from Menlyn and they didn't have right size for 4 weeks now and my daughter was so excited when she got the right size but unfortunately we left the shop very sad and angry 😔..

I think Totalsports must improve the system so that they can still assist clients during loadsheddding because all other shops next to Totalsports they where operating manually without loadsheddding.

Blacklisted for a card i never used

Hi from Johannesburg greenstone

Around month of MAY I went to buy a phone of 3800r at total sport greenstone mall and they asked if I would like to get a card and I agreed to opening an account

They gave me 3 spray for sneakers they said it compalsary that you take them and they are worth 300r they also told me the card have 3400r

2 weeks later I went back to the store to take sneakers and they told me the card was blocked , with no explaition why is the card blocked without me using it ,

But July I have been receiving calls from collecting departments and that’s I have been listed , how Ann I listed for a account I never used and how long does it take for someone to be listed and why was I not contacted or massaged before they blacklisted me on the card I never used at all ?

I need explaining because am in the process of buying a house and now total sport is blacklisting me for a card I never used that they told me is blocked

Over charge

Good day
I open a new account at total sport for 6months interest free and did buy some tekkies price was R599. The cashier made 12months plan on the account without my permission. I did make a couple of payments and when I wanted to settle my account they told me I actually owed them more money. They give me contact number for customer service, I called from my persona number and they told me it will be settled with 14 days. I went back to the store to check and it was not settled yet. On the 13/09 I went back again for the second time and a cashier called Junior assisted me, he even logged a call from the store and they promised to fix it. The 29/09 I went again to check because there was no feedback from the head office and the account was still not settled. The 30/09 I took the shoes back so that they can close the account, they told me I still need to pay for the outstanding balance to close the account, which I don’t understand why because I only purchased the shoes that I took back and have made payments before.

I would never recommend TFG to anyone because it’s day light robbery.

Magnetic tag

I bought me a Nike hoody at total sport in mitchell's plain promenade on Saturday the 25 September 2021 and get when I arrived home I saw that the magnetic tag is still on the top and obviously there is no way for me to get it off without damaging the top itself now I need to waist petrol and take time out of my day and go all the way back to a store to get this thing removed I spent a r900 on this item and the staff could not even do there job instead they inconvenienced me as a customer to have to go all the way back this is unacceptable!!!???

Online service

I have called customer care four times regarding my order (that I had to place twice). The agents kept saying they are going to call me back with feedback, but till this day not one of the 4 people has called me back.

The first time the order was cancelled without notifying me and I had to place the order again.

With the second order when the courier called me he was making the delivery in Kempton Park. I was so confused because confirmed my address not once but twice with customer care agents so I have no idea how my package that was supposed to be delivered in George ends up in Johannesburg.

Second order was placed on 16 May 2019 and not one peep from them, It’s been almost a month.

Must say this is the worse service I have received.

Torn tights

Good morning

I have purchased a pair of tights at total sport and I kept it in my wardrobe I didn't use it, the day I decided to use them when I was pulling them up they teared up at the back.
I took them back to the store the cashier told me they don't take back tights then I asked fr the manager because it was a damaged item, the manager refused to take it back bcz I didn't buy it like Dat and its negligence.
What is the procedure exactly when one wants to return something that teared up while I was putting it on?
Does that mean total sport doesn't take damaged stock due to poor quality.

Cellphone

Good day
I bought a cellphone at Total Sport Ceres. It was not a month and the phone had problems. I took the phone back to the store in Ceres. They send it to repairs. It is now almost 7 weeks. I called to asked when will I get my phone back. The consultant said he is going to find out and will call me back. The next day I received a call from him. He said that there is more problems with the phone and he must call back after a week. I'm disappointed because I think that I bought a phone with problems.

I want a refund for the phone because that phone was not a new phone that I bought.

Bad Customer Service

To whom it may concern

I just came back from a total sport store in johannesburg cbd cnr eloff and pritchard street,there was a kiddies nike that i really liked and told the lady assisting me that i would like to lay bye it,as i put the shoe back on display,there was a bluish mark on the shoe,the lady went to the back,came back with a box with 1 shoe,took the shoe that was on display and put it in the box,as she made her way to the till to conclude the sale,i asked her if she noticed the mark on the shoe,she responded by noding her head,and she later told me that was their last pair....she did not look enthusiastic at all......i am the one who asked her to check with other stores as i really liked the shoe, is it not part of their job description to assist customers and make sure they get what they want and in a good condition?After she checked the stores that has the shoes,i asked her if the mark was wipeable,like i literally pushed her to check which other store has the shoe and to check if the mark was wipe-able or not......she eventually took some spray and spraid on the takkies to see if the mark would get removed,behind me were 2 people that wanted to pay,so i had to wait for her to attend to those people,i decided to leave the store!my email is [email protected]/0877363839

Nokia 3

i bought a Nokia 3 at totalsport in jabulani mall after 3day we tried to remove the sim card an only the sim tray came out and we took the phone back to the shop so that they can remove the simcard for us. it took 1 month for them to fix the phone, an we got a call from them on Sunday the 19th to come an collect the phone as we get to the shop the phone was not working we couldn't get any signal on the phone an they told us to pay R800 for them to fix the signal, or come back on Monday the 20th so we can speak to the manager.
we went back yesterday an when we got there the manager told us they won't fix the phone we must take it the way it is or leave the phone at our own risk.
we couldn't take the phone because when we have them it was working the only problem it was to remove the sim card but now the network it not working.

Customer Service

My Wife bought a Nike Tracksuit for me on Saturday at Fourways Mall. She got me Size L and it was big.She gave me the receipt to go and exchange for a smaller size the next day(Sunday/yesterday). The staff at the Mall send me t and exchange the tracksuit at Fourways crossing branch because they have 3 of the size i wanted in stock. I found 2 ladies and they were not so helpful as they kept arguing about how lazy the staff at Fourways mall are in front of me and told me to go back to Fourways mall

The service was so bad i ended up leaving the store as they were wasting my time. As a customer i feel like this was supposed to be a seamless process but clearly i was wrong.

I really feel like just getting a refund and go spend my money where i'm appreciated.

Shoe

I bougth a pair of adidas 3 months ago for my husband who worked away from home and came back this weekend it a size 10 on the boks and on the shoe but its not a 10 a friend of us also wears a 10 and does not fit him at all if fits a person who weres a size 9 what do i do now i payed 499 rand and now im stuck with a 10 on the box but the shoes are smaller

Price difference

There is sale going on and you get extra 20% off on the sale price. Only to be told the price on the sale tag is incorrect and they wanted me buy it at a higher price without the extra 20% discount. They told me to come after three days because the manager ia not available to explain to me as i seem to not understand. To explain what exactly? That my eyes sees wrong figures?

You have send me an sms voucher "My name,happy birthday month from TOTALSPORTS! Here is a R100 TFG REWARDS voucher for any TFG store:DFB929EFBA97a04 Til.T&Cs.OPTOUTSTOP"
My complaint is that the sms I received did not have an expiry date for the voucher and I went to the TOTALSPORTS store to redeem the voucher I was told it has expired and I drove to your store to buy two pair of socks (3pairs total sports black socks for R99 and puma socks for R149.00) only to be told that it has expired. I was not even given a date to redeem the voucher. It is so unfair to me as a customer to receive this service.I always buy Cash at your store because I trust your Brand.

Unsatisfactory customer service

Good Day
Today I went to Quagga Shopping Centre in Pretoria West.There were 3 ladies on duty.I wanted to purchase an Adidas sneaker for myself and a pair of socks.I asked one of the consultants to assist me in getting me the right shoe size and socks.she got me what I asked for.I then took of the socks as I was about to pay for everything the socks tore as I was taking them off.I told the consultant about this then asked for new socks.
The rude manager then intervened and said I won't get new socks as I tore them with my fingers as I was taking them off.instead of assisting me as a customer she rudely blasted me off and told the sales consultant to leave me alone if I don't want to buy or pay for the torn socks.Her attitude was very disgusting and unfriendly.I will never purchase at any other total sports if this is the kind off service they give.
