This is because UK bank charges for cashing a check for foreign currency is around £20, no matter how small the amount was for. As Trafford's checks become void in 90 days, to date I have not been able to cash any of my royalty payments. Therefore Trafford Publishers gets to keep all those uncashed payment by authors who receive small royalty payments living outside of the US. This is a oversight in their payment method, which is in Trafford's favour. It is not only wrong but probably illegal.
