Hospice Care

WHY is Haldol drug being misused in hospice? I saw a killing process that I have to live with the rest of my life!
I never saw anyone being killed before. it took weeks to get over the shock to realize what had happened? Sure we tried to get help but we were run over by corporate type employees and management. enough said.
Know what your buying into when you take a parent to hospice. These places practice euthanasia. They misuse a drug called Haldol and the side affects ARE NOT part of the normal process of dying. What happen to the kinder act of gently putting them to sleep and not wake up? When my parent needed me the most I was misinformed and my parent abused.
I watched someone I loved die a slow death - nothing peaceful about her passage from life to death.

but finally she said " I cannot hold on any longer". Hell if I knew it was the drug not the normal dying process. This is so sad! My parent didn't deserve to die this way how many others were weak and unable to speak when Haldol is slowly killing your loved one. Border Line Murder!
Here is a list of side affects of this drug these hospices are using to silently kill. I say silent because the drug takes away the persons ability to speak. Medicare is involved of course this hospital will bill medicare! Oh yes the bottom line is money!

Please read but believe me I see no need for this drug. My pets are more kindly euthanized then my parent. Why is that?
Why is a 16 yr old dog kindly put to sleep completely out and later the shot to stop the heart while my parent is put through hell until force her into death by starvation, dehydration, Haldol and drugs I have not researched yet. The psychotic drug is the worse. This is not a drug that should be used in hospice! Maybe these hospitals need to do what Michael Jackson did.
That was my idea of dying peacefully.
Along with its needed effects, haloperidol (the active ingredient contained in Haldol) may cause some unwanted effects. Although not all of these side effects may occur, if they do occur they may need medical attention.
