Warning*** do NOT order anything from US Buildings
THE FOLLOWING SHOULD BE READ & A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT SHOULD BE FILED AGAINST U.S. BUILDINGS (believed to also be aka U. S. METAL BUILDINGS, aka usbuildingsdirect.com)
. U.S BUILDINGS HAS REFUSED TO GIVE ME BACK MY $9000 & NOW IS DEMANDING THAT I PAY AN ADDITIONAL $8, 500 in 3 days BY 8-12-11 FOR CANCELLING THIS ORDER, WHICH WAS DONE WITHIN 2 DAYS OF SIGNING AN ORDER FOR A CLEARANCE BUILDING.

I just called again for the 2nd day in a row and spoke with the office manager, Courtney, who told me that she knows you by Andrew, not Jack. U.S. Buildings has been contacted by fax, email, and phone that this order was cancelled on Sunday 8-7-11, and plenty of notice was given to U.S. Buildings prior to the expiration of the Consumer Right to cancel within 3 days, as you declared to me on Friday 8-6-11 @ approx 10 pm, after pressuring me to sign the contract immediately, to avoid these buildings getting shipped out the next morning for auction. I told you I was not sure that what you were selling me was what I wanted, and you assured me that I could cancel this order on Monday, when the office re-opened w/out any problems. You harassed me on Monday morning when I spoke to you and cancelled, telling me that I gave you my word, which I told you I NEVER said such, in fact, I expressed doubt about this sale then and the next morning, Saturday, when I called to tell you with questions re: the order not being what I wanted & the numerous complaints re: this company on the internet. It was due to your insistence and high pressure sales techniques that I signed the order, as I told you that I had just started looking for buildings that day, as you responded to my request for info from buyerzone website [ I spoke to -Maureen McCarthy- after sending her the docs and speaking to her at length is contacting them to request they return my money. If they don't, she told me they will take them off their site, so contact her for further complaints].
When I told you on Monday, that another sales persons from your company contacted me with a different price from that you offered me (his price was $26, 000 while yours was $34, 000) you demanded to know his name, which is Derrick. He called me yesterday to tell me that he could further reduce the price of the 2 buildings that you were to sell me from $26, 000 to $16, 500 if I gave him my credit card last night. He also declared they were to be shipped out this morning for an auction. He again called me after 11 pm last night, which I let him know was TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE.
YOU TOLD ME THAT I COULD CANCEL THIS ORDER ON MONDAY 8-8-11, WHICH I DID, ALONG W/ CANCELLING IT THE DAY PRIOR. I HAVE FOLLOWED WHAT YOU SAID TO DO, YET YOU REFUSE TO ACKNOWLEDGE THIS CANCELLATION.
IF I DO NOT RECEIVED CONFIRMATION RE: THE CANCELLATION OF THIS ORDER, I WILL CONTACT THE BBB & ALL ATTORNEY GENERAL'S OFFICES IN ALL 50 STATES, ALONG WITH POSTING COMPLAINTS ON ALL INTERNET SITES.
I HAVE SPOKEN TO JESSICA (954-281-2100) AGAIN TODAY WITH MY CANCELLATION, ALONG WITH MANAGER, JOE. JESSICA INFORMED ME THAT SHE CAN NOT GIVE OUT JOE'S LAST NAME, AND HAS FORWARDED THE CANCELLATION EMAIL I SENT HER YESTERDAY TO MANAGEMENT. THEREBY, THIS COMPANY HAS HAD PLENTY OF CANCELLATION NOTICE W/IN PROPER TIME.
I will contact 20/20, along with other news company re: this company.

Jack,
As discussed yesterday, there are concerns re: all the complaints about this company that I have read on the internet. You offered the explanation that it was because someone wanted to cancel their order several months after they ordered and get their deposit back, but after again reading various websites of complaints, it seems that there is more to it. When you called me Friday evening, you told me that I had to sign the contract that night, and if I did not sign & fax back the agreement immediately, the building you were offering to me would be freighted out to Georgia the next morning for an auction there that day. I need to know what auction this was, and I am requesting information/documentation supporting what you told me & re: the dealer in Baltimore that had the 170 buildings that were returned to this company.
The building that is on my invoice is NOT the building that i want, therefore, I AM CANCELING MY ORDER # 1414813, BUILDINGS 1& 2. I had requested a picture of what the buildings would look like, and the invoice does not reflect what I need. You told me that these buildings were worth $70, 000, yet you have provided no documentation of this. Even though you seemed very personable on the phone, I am leery of the sales pressure you put on me.
I am faxing you a cancellation notice w/ both signed pages declaring the contracts cancelled. I expressed to you Friday evening that I was not sure about ordering these buildings, and you told me that I had the right to cancel this order within 3 days, as mandated by Federal Law. Therefore, I am invoking this right w/in 2 days by email and fax.
When we spoke yesterday re: my concerns about this company & the contract, you said that you were get back to me on Monday morning. Prior to us discussing anything else, I need for you to acknowledge this cancellation, and not try to get any funds from my American Express Credit Card.

Hope All is well! I had to run up north to meet w a general contractor who claims he wants the rest of the clearance inventory. Regardless I wanted to get back to you for your piece of mind. I'm here to support you in this entire project. I'll connect with you on Monday to go over all your questions and concerns. Again it was so nice speaking with you last night and I'm so glad I was able to help you and save you the money / instead of the typical general contractor who buy these buildings to resell and profit .
You really did make out, and please keep your price between us, I can not honor that price or anywhere near that price for a referral. Although a referral or two would be great/ it's a huge part of our business. Referrals and second time buyers that is! Again great meeting you and talk soon.
