Denied Treatment and surgery
One year after having a total knee replacement I was injured at work. I have been fighting with Sedgwick to get my leg fixed since 2007. Recently I was finally authorized to see a surgeon, yesterday I got a packet from Sedgwick saying the surgery has been declined. I have lost almost total range of motion in my left leg, my hip is now affected and my quality of life severely altered. Since it has taken soooo very long there are other things now to consider, tendon and ligament retraction and muscle atrophy as well. Recovery is going to take LONGER because of the Sedgwick stall tactics, can some one help me??????
Thanks SMc
