Claim

On the 1st I was called to sign for my claim as it was been approved, I went and sign and 7 days later still nothing, I called to find out but fortunately money was paid and was taken again due to over payment In past few years, I went for query and they confirmed money was deducted all of it, why they did not arrange with me coz I had enough to pay what's overpaid to me, now my kids are starving. I tried to talk to them but refusing the arrangement, it means I'll keep signing without getting anything every month yet my kids are starving

Still no feed back

I have applied for uif last month 14 November
A week after I received sms saying was rejected. I went to the labour office the next morning and was told that the uif19 form was not stamped that's why it got rejected. The lady said she was gonna re send documents and I will recieve an sms. I have not received any such sms. Days later I went to the office to do a follow up was told to wait. This Monday I called the office and was still listed on their system as rejected. I have not got any feedback yet. Please assist me

Poor service

I made use of the UIF online option and paid R750.00 for it. Till today I heard nothing from anyone at the UIF offices. I phoned a telephone number given to me from the lady at the UIF online offices - it is of no use trying to phone that number because you NEVER get through. I decided to go to the Bronkhorstspruit branch to see what is going on. There I find out that the documents I submitted to the UIF online was not sufficient and I had to get hold of a lot of other documents - THAT IS THE SERVICE YOU GET FOR R750.00 - NOTHING! I applied on 5 October - went to Bronkhorstspruit Dept of Labour in the beginning of November. Yesterday I find out from the offices in Bronkhorstspruit after I had given them a salary schedule as the previously requested and that my UI-19 is also wrong - so it is back again requesting for the 'correct' UI-19 form - they do have a salary schedule, they kn ow when was my last last salary paid (if the UIF form ask start date of work and the termination date - what does it matter - they do have your salary schedule from your previous employer!!! Why don't they look at it. My problem is the following - I requested UIF on 5 October - with all the unsufficient service, the lack of knowledge from the UIF officers - will I ever receive my UIF money - it has been 3 months now since I earned anything - and not because of not doing a work well and good - because the employer is greedy and got unfair dismissed from you - all that info the UIF offices have - HOW LONG WILL THIS TAKE!!

I am FED UP WITH THE SERVICE IN THIS COUNTRY!!!!

Rejection of claim

I am horrified by the way my claim was handled, I have been trying since December 2015 to register on line. I was locked and then tried to get my ID number unlocked again so that I could register. Well needless to say evertime I speak to somebody on the numbers given or emails where to send your details to be unlocked I was not successful. I spoke to a lady who then told me toIt is they got my documents but still need to register, I mean really. Again I tried to get unlocked just to be told when I phoned nobody there can unlock me not even the supervisor. Every time you phone you hold on forever and do not really get sorted. Oh yes then I even got an email asking to judge the service, I mean seriously. So after many phone calls and emails to supposed to be supervisors, I still got nowhere. I in desperation went to the offices to register, When I asked the man about the online system he told we that it is not working and everybody ends up doing in manually. Hello, my friend did the registration on line and got her first payment about 2 months later, so what now????. I have been paying UIF for many many years and do not appreciate the way we are treated. Now after all this Im told my claim is late and is rejected. What a joke. Somebody or people at the offices are either imcompetent or do not want to assist people, eventhough it is their job. So, I would really appreciate to be treated fairly and with respect and get my claim paid urgently. Who ever reads these complaints I hope really attend to them and don't just file everything. So, it is just the right thing to do and to settle my claim as soon as possible. Its my democratic right you know.

Uif Claim has cost me a lot of money and still not paid

I submitted my claim on the 03rd February 2016 and to date I have been given the run around. Whenever I visited the Labour Centre in Mamelodi Pretoria, I was given a new return date without an explanation as to why my claim is delayed. Sadly I was not the only person in this struggle.

I have now returned to work, after months of struggling to pay my bond and support my kids.

Will someone please do something to fix what is currently happening at the Labour Centres.

Please support the petition so our voices can be heard. We complain all the time but nobody seems to care, its time fight this unjust system.
