On January 9th I was contacted by a woman telling me I was available for a grant that was no repayment for this grant my money to keep. Exactly $3.87 was deducted from one of my credit cards. I was thinking not to use my debit card so I used a credit card with a low limit, because my fiance was telling me not to do this and my gut was feeling the same but this woman was so assuring me this grant was not going to cost me nothing but the $3.87 and just supply her with my card information so they could load the $10,000.00 grant money into this account. Like a fool I did give her the information from my card and I would receive an email and then on Friday would see the money in my account. Well the only thing that was true I seen the $3.87 charge now this evening I see an $0.11 FOREIGN TRANSACTION FEE. I think and hope the thing that helped me was it was a credit card so they didn't have access to my bank account since it wasn't my debit card. I just got off the phone with my bank and had to cancel that card. Totally BULL CRAP these scammers taking advantage of us working people in the world. Well I just wanted to share this with anyone in the Hope's others see our stories and don't give out or trust anybody who claims they want to help us. Good luck in to all who have dealings as well.
