need more identifying documentation
I applied for a us passport 4 months ago and all I got was a letter asking me for more identifying documents since my drivers license is not enough proof of who I am so they said. I even had my wife fill a form that proofs that she knows me for more than two years at the time of the application, any ways I think its ridiculous if they require all of that info they should just make a better us passport application and stop the games of harassing people with this kind of letters, now seven years ago i become a victim of identity theft and I'm sick and tired of sending documents of who i am, its being 4 months and i haven't got my birth certificate back no letter no call, i check the online status of my passport and still tells me that my book is being process.

need more identifying documentation
I have been having a horribly difficult time trying to get passports for my three children, all of whom were born at home. The two older ones already had passports issued to them so of course did not expect any problem. After waiting over seven weeks, we went in to the Western Passport Agency in Tucson where they were being processed and were told at that time that they needed more documentation because the births were uninstitutional. These are birth certificates issued by the state. But that isn't enough proof of citizenship according to this one woman who is manager Team F at this agency. And neither are the multiple documents that I then submitted as well as filling out a "Supplemental Worksheet" for each of them that lists lots of personal information and turns out is not even legal for them to give to people to fill out since it has no OMB number and thus has not been approved for issuance to more than ten people by the Dept. of State. Now they want us to fill these worksheets out for us, the parents to prove our identity, though we already have passports, driver's licenses, SS cards, and birth certificates. As well as more of the same documents for the children. This is ridiculous and illegal and I can't seem to find a way to complain in a valid way, to remind the Department of State that they too have to follow the rules of the United States government.
