Lease issues

In December my car dealer received a pay off amount of 31,000, to which we agreed and they went ahead and ordered my new vehicle. Since because of COVID you can not just purchase a car you have to order them. New car came in this week, they go to get the pay off it is 10000 higher- US bank is claiming because I now have lease then 12 months in the lease(by 10 days). I have tried to get them to honor the December pay off.
