Today I purchased two gift cards from Shoppers Drug Mart for $200.00 each paying the 6.95 activation fee on both. Got back to work to use them to pay a bill, and when I opened them up, (from their sealed package) the last numbers, expiration date, and security code on the back had been scratched off.

When I went back to Shoppers, it is Vanilla Mastercard's problem, called Vanilla Mastercard and they will look into it, it will take between 30 to 60 days or longer I was told. So today I can't pay the bill I wanted to pay, and I feel robbed by a company. They have my money and I have nothing. Sucks to get robbed by common thieves, but really sucks when you deal with a company you think is reputable and they have internal problems obviously that are horrible.
