I write this as I sit and waste vacation time and money in the Frankfurt, Germany airport. We went to our home base airport 36 hours ago and checked in at United for air flights reserved for us by Viking River Cruises. We were then told our flight had been cancelled. Neither United or Viking texted or emailed us to tell us. We were rerouted to SAN Fran, then we’re told onthe leg from SAN Francisco and Frankfurt that we had not been ticketed for this. We made the reservations 9 months previously. Eventually we got to Frankfurt where the 3rd flight was delayed twice. This is a nightmare!!!! We have never had this kind of experience in 40 years. I would never recommend Lufthansa or United air.

I write this as I sit and waste my vacation time and money in the Frankfurt airport. My husband and I are booked on a Viking Rhine River cruise that was supposed to start today. We booked our air through Viking. When we checked in at our home base airport, we were told that our United flight had been cancelled. No text or email from United or Viking. They rerouted us to SAN Fran, the next leg was cancelled and the 3rd is delayed 4 hours, if it flies at all. Worst flight accommodations we’ve ever had in our 40 years of travelling. We could not be more disappointed. What a way to ruin a vacation!!!
