I had a prescription for a seizure medication filled. Because the tech had not processed the vendor coupon he closed out of the prescription and tried to refill, the insurance denied the claim due to the authorization expired today. (The script was filled on the 15th) I see the doctor again on January 3 (This would have started a new authorization period) HOWEVER, no I am without seizure medication. I called the Insurance who did an override for emergency meds. Walgreen's is not able to pull up the override.

My complaint is! THIS WOULD NEVER HAVE HAPPENED SHOULD HE HAVE APPLIED THE COUPON IN THE FIRST PLACE! I would have had my monthly medication and would see the neurologist as scheduled.

This is serious and could cost me my life. Something needs to be done.
