Photo Studio - Store 3170

I was at Walmart studio - location # 3170 (Burlington ON) for passport pictures today 27th Feb 2016 at around 4.30pm.
2 pictures were 24.85 including taxes. When I ask for 4 copies (same sitting) it was double the price which came to 49.70. My simple comment to the lady was (Stacy) at front, who also took the picture, Wow, it is quite expensive for just additional 2 copies. Her comment was, that is our price and do you want it or not? Very rude way. I found it to be a let down humiliating comment. We, I and my wife mostly do our shopping at Walmart and spent average about 2300 per month.
I ended up taking the pictures - Order # 23170_206022715082534 spending the 49.70. I had to go to Costco for something else, forgetting they had the photo center and just checked the price, it is only 6.99 for 2 photos and 14 for 4. What a rip off. More than anything, I was very upset the way I was treated.

Poor Service/Knowledge

Hello,
I have been a Walmart shopper for a long time. I decided to try taking birthday and christmas pictures with my kids at the portrait studio for the past couple of years. The quality of the pictures have been good and the experience great until today. Today was one of the worst retail experiences in my life. When my family and I first got there the photo session was fine but everything fell apart when it was time to view the photos and choose a package. I chose the holiday special package, looked like best bang for my buck. I like to add accents to my pictures which has never been a problem in the past but today when I asked to make one of my pictures black and white and only have the santa hats in colour, the manager (Trish) said she has never seen that before and doesn't think they can do it. I told her I had been there 4 months ago with employee Barb and she did it without issue but she insisted she had never seen it done. I asked if she could contact Barb to ask her but she said no. At this point I happened to see a picture on the wall of the exact accent and showed her and still she said she did not know how to do it. I asked for her name and then she said she could call another store and find out how and if it could be done. This is not the way a manager should act or respond to a customer. Fine, so I continued to choose photos for my package, when we got to the gift tags (part of package) the employee couldn't figure out how to do it so again the manager had to be called. When she came in, she couldn't figure it out either so she said she couldn't do those and I could have an 8 x 10 sheet instead. I asked if I could have 10 extra christmas cards and she said no. Again, I was not happy. You shouldn't advertise photo items you can't produce. Fine, so with the employee I decided to create an extra 8 x 10 collage to replace the gift tags. Employee did it without issue but when it was time to finalize the package and the manager came in, I was told i could not have the collage. At this point I was extremely frustrated. My husband and children had been walking around the store and they came back wondering why it was taking so long. I was extremely upset and was ready to just walk out, the only reason I didn't was because I wanted to send out christmas pictures before christmas. Finally we finished creating the "correct" package so I stepped to the front desk and waited to pay for my order. I must have stood there for 20 minutes waiting for the manager to come to the front. She finally came and had to manually figure out the cost because the computers were not transferring the cost to the front. I ended up paying more then I would have liked and I didn't get everything I wanted. When she gave me the receipt she told me the pictures would be ready by Dec 11 but the 11 x 14 and christmas cards might arrive at a later date....not good, the only reason why I didn't walk out was because I wanted the christmas cards with enough time to send them out before the holidays. You are probably thinking, well you should have made the appointment at an earlier date and you would be right except I had a scheduled appointment on the 23rd of November but an employee called me the night before to inform me that their cameras broke down so i was forced to reschedule. Your managers and employees should all be trained in a way to prevent all this frustration. My previous studio appointment with Barb was flawless and now my experience has been tarnished and if nothing is done, I will never take pictures with walmart again and I will forewarn others that its not worth the time and money.

Poor service/

I took my son in for his Sr. Pictures, while she was taking the pictures, I asked about them touching up a huge zit on his chin. She told me "I can't do anything here, but they'll take care of that for you." So, I spent over $300.00 on pictures that half of them look terrible. The only decent ones were the ones where his face was partially covered. When I went in to pick them up today, she showed me the pictures, I asked why they weren't touched up and she said "we don't touch up pictures". I replied that she told me they would she said "I never told you that". My son, his best friend and I were all there and heard her when the pictures were taken. Since I've already paid from them, I guess I'm screwed. Needless to say I won't EVER go back to Walmart picture studios.
