Scammers Thiefs

A complete fraud! They have a fancy website to sucker people who don't research companies before sending their expensive watch. I was a victim of the outright criminal operation going on here. They took $700 and did nothing but keep my watch for months, sent it back completely broken and dirty. Worse condition than when I sent it.

RIPOFF ALERT

***RIPOFF ALERT***I have a Baume Mercier manual winding timepiece that had stopped running. I found this company online and did not look at reviews before i sent my watch off to them. 1st mistake. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. It took the company about 2 months to "fix" the watch and send it back. When it was returned it would run after an extended time of winding the watch. But after a couple of days it stopped altogether. I sent it back one more time. And after another six weeks it was returned only to have the same result. At this point I cut bait.

Since this debacle I have taken my watch to a licensed retailer Stanley Eisenman in Dallas, TX, who sent it of to be fixed correctly. FOR LESS $. And it runs like new.

Watch Repair USA is a ripoff and should be avoided at all costs.

Watch Repair USA

I sent my Tonino Lamborghini in to have the battery replaced. A few weeks later they indicated I needed a full cleaning and overall for about $400. I told them to just replace the battery which they would not do. They returned the watch to me at a handling cost of $29. I took my watch to a local jewelry and they replaced the battery for $10-------also they noted that one of the small hands inside the watch had broken loose. The only ones to open the watch was Watch Repair USA.
This is an unethical company.

Unethical Behavior

Total Scam. Watch Repair USA gave me a repair estimate $1,450 for my Cartier Tank 2303. They said it needed a total overhaul. I declined and sent my watch to Cartier, they serviced it and replaced the battery for $370. Runs great now.

Scam

This business is actually a pretty good scam. They say they specialize in your watch and brand so I send it in and I pay to sent it in because I could be ever get the pre-paid shipping to show. I send it in to have a simple part repairs and to be buffed and polished as it was one of their choices of services. Well they then come back to me a few days after they receive it and say the part I need has been discontinued but now I have to pay triple of what I paid to ship it to them, to get my watch back! It's kind of brilliant of a scam. You have people send in their watches, say you can't fix them and charge an outrage shipping charge to get it back. It's a $700 watch so of course I'm going to pay $30 to ship it back. And the service that I wanted to begin with, which was a polish and a buff, they did not do!! Why? Is that machine discontinued as well?? What I find upsetting is that I can buy this watch on Amazon and even walmart.com (which I'm not happy about by the way) and yet they say the part is discontinued??? But they are still making the watch... anyway I would suggest staying away.

Poor service and charged for product not received

I submitted my watch for repair in January. I promptly received a reasonable estimate based on the work they said it needed.
I was also given a six to eight week projected return delivery. After much hounding, I finally received my watch in June. And, to their credit, it is working.
Other than the slow service, my complaint is that I was charged $90 for a band that was not included. I've been unable to receive a credit for the band and have pretty much given up hope they will do the right thing. They keep telling me they have not heard back from "the factory" on this. I didn't do business with "the factory", I did business with Watch a Repairs. In looking at the reviews, they quote almost the same service for every watch when it appears they farm everything out to a "factory" somewhere.
Had I done enough research, I would have never conducted business with this company. With few exceptions, there are substantial bad reviews to convince people to stay away. They are counting on you not reading those reviews.
I would not use them nor recommend them.

Bad Company

It would be better that you left your time piece in a drawer broken than risk sending it to Watch Repairs USA. They kept my time piece 11 months, charged me 355 dollars and returned it just as broken as when I sent it. A company such as this should not be allowed to do business through the internet. They are a scam, sham, and liars. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!

Stay Away!!!

Unfortunately I too fell for this scam and sent my father's broken pocket watch for a "free" appraisal. A month later I was given the estimate at close to $700. If I didn't want the repair work they would keep the solid gold watch or send to back for $95.00. What can you do now but pay the ransom.

Please learn from my mistake and send your watch anywhere else!

Watch Repair Scam

I sent a chronoswiss delphis to them. The second hand was working, the rest not granted this is a complicated watch, chronoswiss told me they could completely repair and overhaul the watch for 800.00 these guys came in at close to 1600.00 and with only a 1 year warrenty vs 2 from the dealer, but thats not the complaint, after i turned down the estimate it appears they just shoved the movement in the case and now the aforementioned second hand doesnt work either, as for the packing job, it was pretty piss poor.Oh, i shiipped this watch with insurence via ups for 34.00, they charged me 62.00

Watch Repair Scam

Very poor service. I complained about the return shipping cost and here's the response:

That did seem a little high. But you are definitely right on the scam part. We only ship broken watches across the globe to make a small profit. Sorry you had to learn the hard way. (Sarcasm)
