I bought 7 windows from Weather Shield. The windows look nice but all of them suffer, to a different extend, from air infiltration problems. Three of them (big casement windows) are very hard to open and close, probably because the operators/hinges are not adapted to the weight of the sash. I've been in contact with Weather Shield's customer service for many months. I checked all the potential problems that their senior technician could identify without being able to solve the problems. When the remaining potential problem was related to the windows manufacturing per se (weight of the sash, bent sash and/or frames), they just stopped answering me. On top of that, they labeled my windows as "Energy Star" products but Energy Star informed me that the model I bought is not registered with them. Do yourself a favor and avoid this company.

They're funny, they take the time to answer when you post a bad review about their products, suggesting to contact them to solve the issue. When you do contact them, they just never answer...
