Total Roof Replacement
Not sure I'm in the complaint stage yet. I am posting this in hopes that my encounter with the Property Loss Department will not be like what I have been reading. I was led to believe on my first call made to "Maryland" at Wells Fargo on June 16, 2017 that if I sent my check to Wells Fargo Property Loss Department with a Fed X return label, that it would be signed and sent back to me. Now on June 26, 2017 I called to ask where my check was in process so that I can get my roof on my home, "Caroline" stated that my check was placed in an account that is called a restricted escrow. I was clueless as to what this was all about. Caroline stated, "did they not explain what this was"? Long story short Wells Fargo has my money, I do not have money to repair my roof. On June 26, 2017 I called and spoke with Keisha B. with Wells Fargo. She stated to me the same story that I have to send in my insurance claim to them, it would take 2 days to process and then I would be jumping through many many hoops before I would even see 1/3 of my money. After reading these complaints I called a 3rd time on June 26, 2017 and spoke with Ronnie B. with Wells Fargo. This time I was attempting to see that my fax that I sent was received. I again received the same information that it would be 2 days for this fax to process. I'm so emotionally sick as to the fact that a company the size of Wells Fargo has the right to keep my money while I am in a home with a tarp on it. Not only do I have damage to my home but as well as my physical body while I worry about this situation.
