Always watch out for the Caribbean, even US territories like Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands. This entire area is filled with banks -- especially the Caymans and the Bahamas where predators seek out investors and borrowers to put money up for banking instruments thinking that they can be "monetized"

99% of these "banking instruments" turn our to be fake and people lose large amounts of money thinking they are leasing the instruments

On 8/25/2016 our company received a FRAUDULENT MT 103 Swift from account holder "Willis Stylish". After allowing several days to pass for the Swift to clear, we contacted both Mr Stylish, an attorney in the US Virgin Islands and Banco Popular

We learned soon that the MT 103 was fraudulent and the Bank Officer listed, Reneice Abraham, had left Banco Popular back in April. Our company then contacted Mr John Diak who oversaw the transaction and Mr Willis Stylish himself. Mr Diak did not understand why the Swift was bad, however, Mr Stylish indicated that he "knew nothing about it" and he didn't even have the amount listed on the Banco Popular document to cover the Swift MT 103.

When we contacted Banco Popular in St Thomas, all they would tell us was that Ms Abraham had been gone from the bank for nearly five months.
