Company claims to cover damage other than normal wear and tear. I filed a claim due to damage from a new puppy. I verified my policy covers pet damage before I submitted the claim. My husband uploaded a photo of the frayed/shredded material assuming we would be contacted to arrange for someone to come take a look and propose a solution. We were immediately DENIED stating it was normal wear and tear. I submitted an appeal and was again denied. This is not normal wear and tear! It was caused from a pet digging. I have purchased furniture exclusively from Macy’s for many years. Never again! This policy they push you until you buy is a fraud!

I was talked into purchasing this plan by a Macy's sales agent. I was told it was a 7-year, all inclusive warranty, would include any type of stain, tear, etc. on our furniture, and that someone would come to our home to clean or fix it for us. I recently filed a claim, and was told that because I did not report the stain within fifteen days of it occurring (they make you tell them the day it occurred before letting you file), that it was out of warranty. We purchased our "7 year plan" less than two years ago. I have NEVER heard of a "15 days within the X years" warranty, and let them know that this is incredibly deceiving. I am beyond disappointed with this service and feel taken advantage of.
