Poor work product

i just got back from YAYA. i will never in my life go back to that salon if that's what you want to call it. the women in there are some of the immature judgmental beings i have ever came across. the second their customer leaves the salon they snicker and giggle one was an elderly woman who had thinning hair! i mean get real. do you have nothing better to do with your life. all that snickering and bs they're doing is going to come back on them. i highly reccommend not to go there and find a better place.

Poor work product

we came to CONYERS from VIRGINIA to visit my family in law. my wive needed her hair braided and we stop at YAYA BRAIDING since my wife is from conyers. she was at that shop for roughly 4 hours. she came home with the best kinky twist she ever had. being a white guy, i do not know a lot about the style. the only thing i will say is that i love the job. my wife was happy so do I. thanks a lot to that shop and the staff. we will be back

Poor work product

SHE MICROS, SHE MICROS
YAYA HAIR BRAIDING is the " go-to- african hair braiding place" to get your microbraids. I have jumped around quite a lot last year to find someone who actually listens and know what she is doing when it comes to my hair. YAYA and her staff take their time and they are perfectionnist, very talented. I have yet nor do plan on going anywhere else

Poor work product

YA YA, the owner braided my hair on December 11, 2009, and by January 2, 2010, I have lost over 100 braids. The product was very poorly done and she charged me $150 which did not include the hair. YA YA did not offer to correct the problem or offer any solutions. I learned a very expensive and painful lesson the hard way. Never try to patronize businesses in your area of residence to help the economy. Always look for the best no matter how far you have to travel.

Poor work product

I agree that Yaya hair braiding salon is a scam. Yes the place is clean because it is too small to be dirty and she will run a mop over the floor early in the morning right up under the customers feet. Which is a hazard. I visit Yaya establishment twice and was not happy neither visit. Yaya doesn't have set prices. I paid 185.00 for some micros and they used the worst hair there was and she never will tell you the hair is human blend. I asked did she use human hair and she said Yes. It wasn't human. Which it means you can't curl that fake hair. If you bring your own hair she drop the price down 10.00. That is probably what she pays for the human blend hair she uses. She talk to here slave braiders any kind of way. She act like she is better than they are although she came from Africa also. She come to America and get all new. Back to my visit on the 1st visit I got micro braids and two to four fell out the first night. I had to wear my hair in a pony tail to keep them from falling out. When I went back to Yaya she was rude and had me to wait while she yack on the phone. The she call herself putting the braids back and they fell out. the next day. After 3 weeks I decided to just take them out and try Yaya one more time. Granted those micros braids cost 185.00. On the second visit I got a sew in. I brought my own hair which I paid over 100.00 for. Yaya knew that the young lady she chose to do my hair could not braid that well. the braids that the young lady put in my head were so loose that I knew that weave wouldn't last 1 week before it will need doing over again. She had jack my edges up and the hair in the back was in a hot mess so when she sew the weave on you could see the hot mess thru the weave. Yaya bragged about how good it look knowingly that girl could not braid. I will never waist my time going there again and never will I refer anyone there. Yes it is 10 minutes down the road from me but I perfer to drive 20 minutes to Lithonia to 1007 salon because the ladies over there are fast and they do great work. I chose 1007 because I read the reviews this time and decided to try them. 1007 is where I will be going from now on and that's where I will refer anybody who wants braids to go. Stay away from greed Yaya because she change her prices by the minute. She is a fake smiling crook who will take your money and mess up you head. To you all who was satisfied with here service you all must caught her on good day. I wasted 400.00 fooling around with Yaya in 1 1/2 month. She won't get another penny out of my pocket. She tried to charge a 4 year child 120.00 for some braids and the mom just walk right on out. About 30 minutes later the Mom call back and I overheard Yaya telling her she will do it for 90.00. She is a MONEY HUNGER CROOK...
