"that at first I thought was my negligence, but after reading reviews see it’s their ploy – I did a live chat to ask for my refund"

You should not let the ranting of others empower your flawed position. The only relevant fact is that the charges you incurred were explicitly stated on the same screen where you enter your cc information.

Fraud

It's a SCAM!

Everything people are saying against this fraudulent company is true. After 45 minutes of arguing zbiddy said they are refunding my $99 and I will receive an email in 24-48 hours saying so, and the refund will be complete withing 2 weeks. If it’s not, I’ll be posting again. As soon as I realized I was charged $99 – that at first I thought was my negligence, but after reading reviews see it’s their ploy – I did a live chat to ask for my refund. After 3 minutes I was told I would need to make a phone call. I thought I reached India, but the rep said it was Florida. David began his sales pitch of offering me free bids and just try it.

After 45 minutes of yelling through the phone, and furiously stating I want my $99 back, not a restaurant voucher, gas voucher, discounts – NOTHING! Every time he began his sales pitch up again I rudely stated I didn’t want to hear anything other than the word “REFUND”. I told him I would be putting reviews all over the internet, and while I was saying it, I searched for reviews and found this website. So I began reading to David about this scam, then asked him how he liked working for a company that steals from people. I couldn’t believe that everything that just happened to me I was reading about.

So it’s NOT YOU if you got tricked into this, it’s the website that sucked you in. DON’T accept ANYTHING but a refund. Then report this company to every agency possible and every review possible. I will post it on Facebook to every friend I have. Oh, and I called my Credit Card Company to cancel – they can’t do anything until it’s posted to the account. So I will call back in a day or so.

Fraud

Thanx its a scam, i've got as far as zbiddy telling me to call for my refund. not only is it scamming its consumers by taking there money, but by the false advertisement that a product was sold for only 28 dollars and 25 cents for a pacific product(let just say a) 100 dollar gift card. WOW! what a savings!!! Stop, what savings. most bids cost about 40 cent, some less some more. Lets multiply .40 cents times a one penny bid. Thats 40 x 2825= 113000, place the cent mark and u get 1130.00, eleven hundred dollars. U figure it out yourself and see whats really going on. My lord what a scam of scams. Congress needs to step in and make these companys state the truth of what the product was sold for. these companys are breaking all different kinds of laws that are set up to protect us consumers. HELP!!! And their products are the same thing week in and week out; gift cards, bids, with a i-pod every now and then. dont buy in to their false advertisements

Unauthorized charge

Contact ZBiddy at 1-877-403-6981 within 7 days of your first bid package purchase to get a refund.

According to ZBiddy’s guaranty, listed under their terms and conditions on their website, “All payments for bid packages are non-refundable except for any bid amounts remaining unused on the 1st bid package purchased by a user which qualifies for the ZBiddy guaranty as stated on the ZBiddy website. The refund will be available for 7 days from the date the user purchased its 1st bid package, provided that the user requests such refund from ZBiddy within such 7 day period.”

If you did not use any of your bids you are entitled to a full refund.

Do not allow ZBiddy’s customer support representatives to bully you around when you call to get a return on the bid package, which they charged you for without your consent anyway. The reps do not tell the whole truth on the phone when they state bid packages are non-refundable. Do not allow the reps to give you any sales pitches either. They will act like they are doing you a favor by telling you they will down size your bid package purchase for a cheaper price. Do not agree to this. Demand a return according to their own terms and conditions guarantee.

Never give ZBiddy any of your information. If you haven’t already made this mistake, never register or create an account on this website. The moment you give ZBiddy your credit card number, while simply creating an account, they immediately steal $60-$160 from you. They then try to make it look like you just purchased a bid package.

ZBiddy also sells your personal information, right away, to as many marketers as they can. The privacy policy on their website states they will use your information, “To allow you to receive other offers from non-affiliated third party companies and marketers. Send you marketing communications. Conduct research and analysis.” According to ZBiddy’s privacy policy the type of information they collect on you (and then share) is: name, postal address, e-mail address, telephone number, cell phone number, age, date of birth, gender, IP address, referring site, other information provided by you to company (I’m hoping against hope they are not also sharing my credit card number. I better close that account), and other technical information collected by the site’s servers.

I was receiving new types of telemarketing calls on my cell phone the very next day.

In my experience, ZBiddy is an illegitmate, fraudulent, scam of a website. They even run their company out of a building that looks like a storage unit in Miami, Florida. After ZBiddy stole $99 from me, I contacted a customer support representative and politely requested their mailing address. Attached is a seedy-looking photo of their address according to Google Maps.

I wish I had done my research before registering an account on ZBiddy’s website. Review after review shows that too many people have fallen victim to ZBiddy. This company needs to be shut down, and the owners need locked up. If you have been victimized by ZBiddy please go to the Federal Trade Commission website and file a complaint, https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov. On the top, right-hand side of that page, there is a link that states, “Click here to file a complaint with the FTC.” Click it. It only takes a minute to file the complaint. Let’s all unite to ensure that justice is served.
