SCAM

Stay well away from this dodgy company. This is a SCAM.

The 'free trial', they offer when you pay $1.99 postage is rubbish. It's not a 'FREE TRIAL' at all. They will continue to charge for product that you never receive, let alone wanted in the first place. When you try and contact their customer service, you need to say over and over again to STOP CHARGING YOUR CREDIT CARD. They are refusing to refund my credit card back, because I was supposed to have contacted them within x days of them sending the product, which I did not know they were sending.

I really think it's time these companies had to comply to standards - at a minimum providing the Terms & Conditions in large print WITHIN the advertisement,providing the Terms and Conditions in the email they send to confirm your order , if they intend to deduct ongoing funds from your credit card. In Australia we our businesses are required to obtain a written authority to do this.

Charged for goods not delivered

I have become aware that since 6th Jan thru to 23rd March I have been charged for Bellapex.
I have not received this product since end of 2015.
I would strongly suggest that you credit my A/C ANZ FREQUENT FLYER PLATINUM 4564-6800-2028-2488
as I will be reporting this to my Bank.
I consider this Fraud and will go to the Police to report this matter if the monies are not credited to the above
account.
I did use the product in 2015 but cancelled it when there was no result as advertised.
PLEASE CREDIT MY ACCOUNT AND REFRAIN FROM BILLING ME FOR A PRODUCT NOT WANTED
OR RECEIVED IMMEDIATELY.

Bellaplex/Hydroxatone

I trialed these products at $2.00 each. I quite liked them, so had the first billing come through on my credit card. The following month the 2nd billing went out, totalling $400 New Zealand Dollars!!!! Within days another order of each arrived when I had barely used any of the original shipment. I could not afford to pay another $400 for this product. I phoned the "0800" number on my packing slip and spoke to an American man, who grudgingly accepted cancellation of my subscription, but not before trying to sell me a number of other products at discounted rates and then offering me a "ridiculous" deal for continuing with the subscription.
You must ring them to cancel, you must be firm, do not give in.
I had to return the shipment to Australia costing me another $15.00 in postage, each product went to a different address.
If you are based in the States sometimes the District Attornies office can help with these scams. I had $2000 refunded from a scam selling packages to Disneyland in Orlando, Florida. Don't give up, complain and keep following up. You should get your money back and help to shut these people down if enough people speak up and don't give in.

Scam...false charges

They keep calling and harassing me even after i have called my bank and blocked them from my account. They tried to charge me $39 for returning the "no cost" trial! How is this legal? Can it harm my credit score?

Company Not Supplying Correct Contact Details

Exactly what happened to Alison - December 2015 has happened to me, except that I stupidly went to the next step and accepted their "free samples" and gave them my bank card number.

That was 3 days ago. Yesterday I read all the dozens of reviews and knew that I had been scammed.

I immediately sent a long message cancelling any future products and cancelling authorisation for the use of my credit card details. But surprise, surprise, both the email addresses that were given to me (in case I wanted to cancel the order before the 30day trial period was up) were incorrect and were both unsuccessful.

The email address advised for Hydrolyze was: [email protected] and the email address given for Bellablex was: [email protected].

I particularly asked the girl for contact details if in fact I did not want to continue with their promotion and she said that I could either call them - each product had a different telephone number! I told her that I couldn't afford to call America, she said that I had the option to contact each of them by email, so that's what I have tried to do.

The telephone numbers supplied were- Hyde. 0011 800 2358 7491 Bell. 0011 800 3216 7711

Last night I cancelled my credit card.

I too have been scrammed not happy thought I was receiving a free trial product sent them a cancel email and still found they were sending products and charging my credit card. I have now cancelled my card and sent another email to cancell. A very unhappy customer:(

NEVER AGAIN!!!

I have used Bellaplex and Luminique for 2 years now and have to say I love the products. When I found myself out of full time work and with 3 kids to support as a single parent I had to decide to put on hold my regular delivery of this product until I can land on my feet again.
I had 2 payments taken out monthly for both products (with a delivery every 2 months) along with 2 separate payments for delivery.
Yes, was getting expensive but as I loved the product this was my little splurge on myself.
When I contacted the Sydney Australia number I was speaking to an American man and I explained my situation that I was currently facing financial hardship and would like to put my payments and orders on hold for 2-3 months until I got on my feet again (I also had a few bottles stocked up so would survive until then)
This all seemed good and well until the gentleman then told me that my account was in arrears $480?
I asked him how could that even be possible as you take the direct debit off my credit card every month? He said this was in arrears since 2014. I then asked him why was this not brought up early as I had contacted the customer service line last year in April 2015 by email to speak about the direct debits coming out of my card, so If I was in arrears then this would've been mentioned then...his response was that this would not have been mentioned as I was not enquiring about that???
He then tried to tell me that numerous letters had been sent to my PO box (which I never received) requesting the payment or this would go to a debt collector? By now I was seeing red and asked to speak to his supervisor which he replied he was the senior staff on the floor. I then asked for him to send me all of this information in an email including a copy of the so called letters requesting payment as I was going to look into this legally and report this to consumer affairs as a scam as I had proof that payment had been coming out of my account every month without fail for the past 2 years.
On 2 occasions during this phone conversation he attempted to get me to pay $220 and he would then reduce the arrears back to $0.00
I told him I wasn't paying anything and to cancel my entire order completely. He then tried to tell me that I would still have to pay$440 Again I asked him to send me all of this in a document along with the letters supposedly mailed to me which I never received so I could then follow this up with consumer affairs. He then put me on hold again ( for a 3rd time) and when he returned he kindly advised me that all of my arrears were now finalized back to $0 and that my order was now cancelled.
So, definitely a lesson learnt as I had requested over the 2 years to please charge my card at the beginning of each month so I knew when a payment would come out. They were taking payments sometimes 2 weeks apart but in different months so in reality they were getting extra payments.
This company is definitely a scam when it comes to taking your money, sadly as I said I loved the products but a scam is a scam :-(

DO NOT sign up for this offer of $1.99 Risk free. Once they have your credit card details and your trial period ends you WILL be billed approx $95 AU a month. To cancel you must RETURN the product used or unused within the trial period otherwise you WILL be charged. You must read the fine print. If you sign up for Bellaplex and/or Hyroxatone you will be charged a total of $200 and/or $400. ITS NOT RISK FREE......My advice is dont do it. I did thinking that i was spending $4. DONT DO IT, I REPEAT DONT DO IT

Hydrolyze Bellaplex

I have received products I haven't ordered and I can't afford the huge cost which they are charging on my Visa card. I can not pay for these charges of Bellaplex NZ $108 x 3 = plus extra exchange charges all of which total 338.27.
Also Try Hydrolyze = NZ108 x 3 = with extras = 371.51. Altogether they have charged me = NZ 709.78.

I am 71 and have Parkinson's Disease, these charges continue to appear on my visa account and I can not pay for them.

I thought that I was applying to get a free sample last October which I was willing to pay the postage. I can't find the internet site that this offer was on, to check this out again. The only way that the postage can be paid is using a credit card. A parcel arrived with what I thought was a very generous free sample. Too good to be true, then that should have been my warning. About two months later in December just after Christmas $96.85 comes out off my credit card, I was not expecting this and my credit card went over my limit. I emailed Luminique and I also phoned to cancel and to complain about the money being taken out of my credit card without my consent.

I was informed that it was not a free sample that it was a 30 day free trial. I was sure that I filled in a form for a free sample but not being able to find this site again and months had elapsed and after speaking to, the ever so convincing person on the phone I started to doubt myself. That was until I read about other people also thinking they were getting a free sample and not a 30 day free trial and return the product if you don't like it.

I don't think many people would bother to pack this up and take it to the Post Office and pay the postage and register the parcel to be sure they receive it back. I am one of those lazy sods who never bothered to do this and I regret it now, especially after I realized how much money I was scammed.

A second parcel arrives and I thought that they had doubled up and sent me another free sample. It was the same as the first lot of products that I received. Then my credit card has an automatic payment taken out. I emailed, I phoned and was informed that this because I did not return the product within the 30 day free trial frame that I had to pay for it.

I had long since stopped using this product, mainly because I could not see that it made any difference to my skin. Why should I have to pay for the postage to return a product that I did not order, nor did I not want at $97.77 That was a big mistake not returning the second parcel because I was billed another $101.13 in January and another amount of $97.77 in February. I phoned again as I thought I had paid for what I had received. No I was told this product cost $130 American Dollars and I have to pay the difference in Australian Dollars. I am still non the wiser why there were three payments that come off my credit card. Luminique said that their regular shipment has already been cancelled and no more is owing. I am out of pocket $295.75 for a free sample. It does not seem right that this company can automatically set up these on going shipments and continue to take payment out of credit cards after advertising free samples when they mean a free trial that has to be returned if you don't want to be billed. I am sure I read the advertisement carefully and I am sure I did not misunderstand it was a free sample - It is a SCAM.

Do not fall for paying postage and giving your Credit Card details out to Luninique for a free sample. They will bill you. The only way to stop them from making direct deductions from your Credit Card is to cancel your card and get a new one before they can scam you.

I am a disabled person on an aged pension and I to lose this amount of money has stretched me financially and it meant that I have had trouble paying my other bills on time.

The company is a scam. You will be sent the products supposed to be FREE SAMPLES and you only have to pay POSTAGE but instead you will be charged $203.00 for one Bellaplex sample and one Hydroxatone sample. If you don't believe me then you try.

Received my "free samples" Got the phone call telling me about the 1st shipment and how much they were going to charge I told the lady I didn't want anymore products sent to me so she offered the same product half price still said no so she tried to bamboozle me with another price and another product I said emphatically No I don't want anything sent she seemed to finally get the message so said goodbye but after reading all the complaints I'm not taking any chances I just cancelled my card. Just wish I'd read these other complaints to save the inconvenience of not having a credit card.

Received "FREE trial", then found out I would be charged $141.89 over the next 2 months. Rang, and after first Asian sounding lady hung up on me when I said I wish to cancel and return; my husband tried and got the same lady (I believe ext. 148) who would not listen or accept our cancellation. When my husband tried to talk over her sales speak, she then got aggressive so that he lost his (until then) patience. This is a total scam. They don't have any addresses on their literature to which you may return their goods for credit. DO NOT BUY from these scammers. You can buy similar products at far less price from local chemists. I agree with other posts. They are Yankee thieves.

I ORDERED AND PAID FOR THE SAMPLES,FOR MY FRIEND TO TRY AROUND XMAS . THEN LATE JANUARY MY BANK ACCOUNT HAS BEEN DEBT FOR OVER .$200 PLUS AUSTRALIAN DOLLARS . THAT I NEVER ORDERED NOR WANT !! AND THIS IS THE COMPANY THAT SUPPLIES !
BELLAPLEX and Hydroxatone Under Eye Treatment. I AM A WIDOW AND ONLY RECEIVE THE OLD AGE PENSION. I RENT THE PREMISES I LIVE IN AS WELL. I AS YET HAVE NOT RECEIVED THESE PRODUCTS. SO I CAN SEND THEM BACK.AND FURTHER MORE . I DID NOT ORDER THESE PRODUCTS . I ONLY ORDERED THE SAMPLES AND PAID FOR THEM.

Hydroxatone/Bellapex

I ordered the above but was charged twice for Bellapex & was sent an e-mail to say that the second order would be cancelled along with the payment, ( I have an email stating this which I have kept) however the charge is still on my bank statement & when I received both products there were 2 Bellapex products. I have also been told by my Dermatologist that I cannot use these products as I have recently had treatment for Keratosis & I wish to return these products but I do not seem to be able to get through on the telephone. I wish to speak to a certain consultant on extension 148 but have been unable to be connected please reply

After receiving a "free trial" except for postage I received the product with a notice that my account would be debited the following two months . I then rang them and cancelled all further supplies. I was then informed that I would have to pay for what I had received as the first of the two payments was for my so called "free trial". After my initial shock they then said that they could give me a "managers special" at 50% discount after consulting her supervisor which I believe didnt happen but is a built in ploy to appease angry customers! So I was informed they would take $69.95 from my account last night and a further $69.95 again in March. Stupidly I agreed to this and imagine my shock when I checked my account this morning and discovered not $69.95 had been removed but $110.00. What the....?
I will be contacting my bank today. This is a misleading scam. STAY AWAY FROM LUMINIQUE AND BELLAPLEX. You can get a comparable product at your local beauty store and you wont be ripped off
