do not take the offer!

After having payed for the alleged trial ($1.99 plus postage), Luminique has charged me $96 in November and $6.50 in December> I have been forced to stop the card and the bank has initiated a dispute. So, beware and do not fall in the trap of these thieves.
Besides, the cream is absolutely average.

Bellaplex website Privacy Breach!

I saw an advert for Bellaplex and went to their website to read more. I was interested in trying their "free" trial and read the conditions. I understood the conditions and was still interested, so I stared filling out their online form on their webpage. However, before I hit the button to submit, I thought I might just do a google search on reviews and came across this forum. After reading the LONG list of complaints, I decided not to participate after all and closed the Bellaplex webpage WITHOUT submitting my details.

One would think this would be the end of it ... but NO!! Only half an hour later, I got a phone call from the United States asking for me by name!! I didn't confirm who I was and instead asked who was calling as both my mobile number and my land line number are registered on the Australian "Do not Call" list. As soon as she said she was calling from Bellaplex, I went off my head at her and demanded how dare their website track my keystrokes and use the details I had typed but NOT saved or submitted! This was a MAJOR breach of privacy and to remove my number and all details from their database! and promptly hung up on her! Luckily, because I had not hit the submit button, I hadn't gone any further than typing contact details, so I know my bank account is safe!

So, my warning to anyone reading this - DO NOT TYPE ANY INFORMATION INTO BELLAPLEX'S WEBSITE!. I can 100% confirm that they TRACK KEYSTROKES and will USE ANY INFORMATION YOU TYPE!, whether you have accepted their conditions or not!

Bellaplex

Hi all,
My grandma fell for this deal as well. It took over two months since she had ordered it for it to arrive to our house which is strange In itself. We cancelled her bank card straight away after reading all these terrible reviews. but just in case of legalities we called customer service too . I was only on the call waiting for 5 minutes before someone answered, I think I got lucky!
All I said was that I was unhappy with the product and would like a refund, and a cancellation of my future shipments.

I spoke with a gentleman called Jerome his ext. number is 520. Email is [email protected]
He was very nice and didn't give me any trouble at all, I even had a laugh at the deals(scams) that he offered me at the end as we both know that he was forced to say sell that crap.

They gave me a return address to ship the product, and he told me a 7 digit number that shows that I asked for a cancellation.

Hopefully I won't be needing to call them back.

CAN'T CANCEL ORDER

Well my wife ordered Keranique and Bellaplex and returned it before the trial was over however they took 79.99 and 69.99 off my card. Needless to say i called them and they told me she had to call before she could send it back and i thought to myself why when there is a return label and everything else I've ever had to return anywhere else i never had to call them first and anyhow she'd returned them.My wife called them and they only returned 69.99 only to take it back the next day! Four calls two rude CS reps and two thirty minute on holds and i was pissed. Finally as i called one more time i decided to go online while the phone was ringing and found this site and explained that i was aware of these complaints quite like my own and i will take legal action if they do not give me my money back. Tesha at ext.216 assured me she canceled the order and i would see my money five to ten business days. we shall see.

Bellaplex & Hydroxatone

My poor elderly mum got sucked into this scam as well - same story. "Free samples" and then deliberately confusing, stalling tactics to smokescreen her and try to charge extra and deliver more samples.
The whole set up is to get your credit card details and send this cheaply made 'snake oil' crap.
This racket is making millions from the scam. Unfortunately they are loosely covered in terms and conditions where consumers more.often than not click 'buy' before reading the fine print.
Their whole set up seems to have people employed as the 'complaint handlers' whose role is to stall, delay, confuse, refuse and keep charging credit cards and sending unwanted products until they get blocked from the credit card holder's financial institution when account has been cancelled.
They can arbitrarily change the prices over the phone because there is no real price. All they want is for your credit card account to still be acessible. Even if you agreed to pay $10 it would not matter because I can guarantee the next time you will get deliveries of the same crap and big charges to your account over and over until you cancel your credit card.
It is a fraudulent activity under the thinly veiled cloak of legitimacy.
it is a deliberate scam operation.

False asdvertising and rude and unprofessional customer service

To whom this may concern,

I have just gotten off the phone from an extremely rude and unprofessional Hydolyze & Bellaplex customer service assistant who keep talking over me and who could not seem to find the correct policies I was to adhere by. In the end as she would not listen to what I was trying to explain to her, I simply had to hang up as I was getting nowhere.

I do not believe these products work for me as I have seen no results, however as a Risk Free Trial I certainly will not be paying for these products that do not work so I attempted to cancel my order and return the products. I asked the customer service assistant to send me a pre-paid postage bag for me to return the products and although she could not find the policy anywhere to clearly state to me saying it has recently changed post me ordering the "risk free" products she still insisted I would be charged if I did not return the products.

I urge anyone thinking of ordering these products to reconsider, this is a scam and a great way to try and get money off people even if they don’t believe in the product. This is false advertisement and unethical.

As for the way this “customer service assistant” handled this situation – you should be ashamed of yourself and should be given a warming for extremely poor customer service and tarnishing your company’s name even more.

I will not be paying for these products and that the bottom line, if monies are taken out of my account I will advise my bank and fair trade that it is fraud and your company will be investigated further.

Unimpressed,
Mariana Chappell

Luminique & Bellaplex - Scam

Thank you everyone for your sharing your concerns & heartache!
I'm from Australia, received my products a few days ago and not going to take the risk with what I've been reading.
Just cancelled my Visa credit card, explained the situation to the bank & got their full support.
Sorry to hear all the dreadful experiences.
How can Christie Brinkley endorse these products or if she isn't how can they get away with using her face & name ?!?

Harassment

I have NEVER ordered any of these products or anything similar to these products,
My mobile number is listed on the DO NOT CALL REGISTER and is a PRIVATE number.

The past two days i have had continuous calls from the following phone number-
+1 (888) 895-4354

As an example, This morning already my calls from this number were at-
10.30
10.33
10.33
10.37

I am aware that i can block the number from my mobile, but i have been monitoring/taking note
to use as evidence.

This morning i googled the phone number to find out it is a company called Hydroxatone, which has HUNDREDS of complaints
in different online reviews/forums stating the product is ineffective, misleading, harassing, not cancelling requested accounts, continuously
taking money from peoples accounts AFTER the account has said to have been cancelled and in one review a woman stated
the continuous payments taken from her account after apparent cancellation resulted her in listing her card as stollen to stop them.

I have read that any issues from this company owned by Robb Auber, should be reported to BBB and Attorney General.

So called 'businesses' like these need to be taken down!
how dare they trick innocent people, take their hard earned money, refuse to give refunds and harass people like they do!

I personally will be making sure my voice is heard for all of you that have suffered from these a-holes!

BELLAPLEX

I too have been conned. While away - apparently "I ordered their product and agreed to a continuing supply" Ha - I wasn't in the country, but they are now saying I need to pay the $400+ to bring my account up to date. The biggest laugh - when finally through to the "customer lack of service" I emphasised that I wanted the account cancelled and no more product to be sent. I have to possible bogus "cancellation confirmation" numbers, and then she proceed to invite me to purchase a couple of special face creams at a reduced price.
Didn't these people listen to my rantings over the previous 15 minute. WATCH OUT

Do Not Buy this product

I ordered this face cream in March. I received 2 shipments each with 2 months worth of product. I was charged $370 AUD. I noticed a mail fee of $21 two weeks ago so I assume my next shipment is en route. I decided to quit using the Bell-plex because it irritated my eyes. I was informed that I would need to pay an additional $400 to quit, whether for one or both products! I said I will quit them all then. I noted that an additional $486 AUD has been deducted from my account this week. I hope this is the end of it. An expensive lesson learned.

Luminique taking money from my account

Sadly my complaint is like many of the others already posted. I am furious, however that my bank statement has just shown that two amounts of $201.32 were taken from my account on 22 July 2015.
Do I too have to cancel my card? Can I get my money back? From Australia? The luminique deduction looked like it was from New Jersey.
What an idiot I've been. Too much faith in human nature...

SCAM!

I was silly enough to believe in getting something for nothing! I received my order and found it burnt my skin and caused acne breakout and rashes! When I called to cancel my subscription the company told me I would be charged $275! (this was not disclosed to me at the time of buying the FREE TRIAL!) When I insisted that I couldn't use the product and I would return it he laughed and said it would cost more to send back to America! He then discounted the product to $69.95 and I reluctantly had no choice but to pay the lesser price as he said he was doing me a favour! IT IS A RORT!

Hydroxatone

I had the same experience as the other people on this forum. I actually thought I'd opted out of the purchase by clicking "No Thanks" instead of "Rush my Trial" because I noticed they were going to sign me up for automatic replenishment. I rang the company and they absolutely refused to cancel my order, saying I have to wait until I receive my trial product. I said cancel the trial product, I don't want it but the woman refused and was virtually screaming at me! I cancelled my credit card immediately. I just don't want to get any bills in the mail for product I don't want.

Don't do this!!! They are thieves

Free product is not free

BEWARE!! for a supposedly free product I have been taken for approx AU$400.00, yes I'm an idiot for believing this well thought out marketing campaign and a good dose of deception thrown in, for my momentary lack of scepticism ,I have paid dearly, the bank can not do anything to stop unscrupulous people taking money from your credit card account, I had to cancel my credit card. to make sure Luminique and Bellaplex could not extract anymore money from me. when I rang them to cancel my order and account they claimed I still have $275.00 outstanding and they will take steps to recover the money.
I am interested in contributing to bring a CLASS ACTION against these people if someone is willing to arrange it.
NEVER GIVE YOUR CREDIT CARD DETAILS TO ANYTHING ON THE INTERNET!!

Scamed by Lunimique, Hydroxatone, Bellaplex

Signed up for free samples of Luminique, Hydroxatone and Bellaplex skin products for $1.99 each. Received the products in April 2015. I have just checked my account to find that the companies have debited it for 3 amounts of $91.70, 1 June 2015 Totaling $275.10. Also another debit from Hydroxatone for the amount of $92.09 on 3 June 2015. I did not order any more of the products so why have they taken my money. I would like the money back in my account ASAP. Total amount owing to me is $367.19.

Bellaplex Free Samples

Like everyone else, provided my credit card details to pay for postage of the free samples offered in an advertisement on Facebook - received two small tubes of the product and today received my credit card statement which showed a debit of A$90 to this company. Rang their 1800 number 3 times when I was advised that I had an account with them and there was another A$90 due for the product I had received and I had agreed to their Terms and Conditions. When I protested that I did not agree to any such arrangement, all 3 "customer service" operators disconnected the call. I then emailed them that I do not want to proceed with any dealings with their company and cancelled my credit card with the bank. I am probably one of the most careful people on the internet and am very particular about providing credit card details online. Obviously, not careful enough. Their advertisements are still on the Internet - just saw one on the eBay site and they are still advertising on Facebook. These cowboys needs to be stopped.

Cant cancel order

I have the same problems as everyone else who have let comments. I cancelled my card immediately AFTER i ordered the free trial and read the reviews, der! Still cant believe I didnt read the reviews first!!!
I have only ever received the trial package, received an email last week to say I owed $139 but they were having problems with my card number. I suppose that's a good thing but now I'm worried they might take legal action to say I owe them??
i couldn't work for a company like this who rip people off!

Hydroxatone / Bellaplex

I registered for the free $1.99 trials on the site on the internet. The products did arrive, and the money was debited from my account, however, I was not very impressed so didn't think any more about it. The next thing I knew I am being asked for additional payments from the same companies, for what I do not know.I certainly will not fall for a scam like this again, shocking, corrupt practices.

bellaplex and luminique

I am an Australian and have also fallen for this scam of trying bellaplex and luminique creams. I clicked on link to try the products for $1.99 trial and have been sent products more than once and have also been charged again without my permission. Last evening I had a phone call from someone asking to settle my account which stood at $500 + (was so shocked that I didn't even take in the full amount) When I refused to pay that amount, it was halved immediately. I still refused to pay and said I wouldn't pay a cent more and would return the products. Was told not to, but can't wait to get rid of them. If they want to sell their products there are ethical ways of doing so. Have learned a big lesson, never again will I sign up for a free trial. If it sounds too good to be true.....it probably is, nothing comes for free. Will tell everyone I know not to have anything to do with bellaplex or luminique. Betty
