rudeness from shop assistant and lack of appropriate response from store manager

This is the second time this very same shop assistant has been rude to me ( in the plant section). Twice I have placed a complaint with a store manager and was patronised with my complaint not followed up in my presence. There is no process by which a complaining customer can verify that any action has been taken on their behalf. I feel very frustrated because Lithgow Bunnings have a hardware monopoly in our town, which gives some staff reason to be discourteous and not take their position seriously. Employees are well aware that people in this community would have to travel an hour to access another hardware store and will return to the store regardless. Your standards of respect towards customers in that area needs to be reviewed. I have been a long time customer but I personally will no longer support your that store or any other until I am satisfied that something has been done to address this situation.

No refund

spot lights bought at the store did not work , while returning for refund I did not have the licence number of the electrician
Despite giving name and contact number , loss of $120 + $ 150 for the electrician fees for 15 minutes,hence
"Less price is only the meaning for no refunds", customers be aware when purchasing items from Bunnings

Complex manager

I have been watching the currant complex manager and have been extremely disappointed to see almost all team members have had their moral totally crushed.
My wife and son are both team members and they are both very stressed and financial hardship has forced them to now look for other jobs an d there are other team members in the same position.
I'm surprised that the budget information has not sent of alarm bells as the store is in serious trouble with this complex manager.

Poor service

Went to your store at gosford
we were looking for a large metal tool box
I ask the sales person about buying one she told me it's a special order ok well that's fine then
she sent me to the special orders desk
I asked the sales person there about the meal box
I told her it's a special order . she looked up the part number and told me there are 3 In stock
she said she would check as we just had stock take
she made a phone call and spoke to a team member and told her there were 3 in Stock then she said ok
she told me that there are 3 in Stock but they are to hard to get down
my response do you have to men's to get it down and we can buy it today no they couldn't
it would be 3 weeks for the order to come in
ok I understand that but why have 3 in Stock and not sell any 1of then
your store lost a $700 sale today and the service was terrible

poor customer service

I have been shopping at Bunnings for a long time and always had good not great service and good product knowledge,Recently i have been going to the new store open near me at Wondell road Manly West Queensland , It with regret that i am putting in this complaint , . You can hardly fine some one on the floor to serve you and when you do their product knowledge is appalling , and i am sure i am not the only one with this complaint, so until this is fixed i will not return to this store

Bunnings customer service

I went to Bunnings Minchinbury today approx. 9:30 am to buy some timber panelling. I wheeled my trolley down the isle and it clipped a stack of boards which some fell off the top and on my foot. A couple of customers inquired if I was alright I told them I'll be right only a couple of grazes thanks anyway. I noticed a staff member and told him of what happened so that no one else would trip over the boards that fell on the floor and he didn't seem to impressed and started picking up the boards and not even concerned if I was alright.
When paying for the item I noticed I was bleeding and asked the team member at the register for a band aid due to boards falling on my foot so as not to get blood in my car and she told me to ask the gentleman at the trade exit that he should have a first aid kit while she continued her phone conversation. The gentleman at the trade exit said sorry that he didnt have any so I just left appauled with the concern of staff towards customers and the only concern showed towards me was only by other customers. Customer service needs a shake up.

kindly refer to my earlier complaint about the Bunnings Hardware store at Minchinbury in NSW Sydney Australia. Big thanks to Complaint Board and its readers. I have this morning received an e mail from Mr David Lee the complex manager of the said store who offered me a meeting with him and his area Manager. David lee indeed was quite concerned and assured me that he will take an appropriate action and make sure that customers service of a high standing. I agreed with David and will see what happens, If the problem is not fixed or gets worse I will be back in here.

Lazy and incompetent Store Manager and the Staff

I am today wrtitting about the staff and Management at Bunnings hardware in Minchinbury. I have been going to this store what I can remember is since its opening. my visits has revealed that hardly you will find some one on the floor to serve their customers. I have on number of occasions recently has waited long time for a customers service representative, No one came to help so Hell it I have to leave the store. I am not reluctant nor shy to state that the Store manager at this store is not only lazy but also incompetent. I suspect that staff somewhere at the back in the staff room spend most time in chatting rather than serving their customers. store manager is well aware of this situation but week, Lazy and incompetent to take appropriate action. I wonder why senior management does not take any action against this useless and hopeless Manager. I hope after reading this bunnings senior Management will take appropriate action
