Frontier Communications

IS THERE ANYONE HERE WHO HAS FOUND A SOLUTION??

At least I am not alone! I have been trying to get the $200 early termination fee taken off of my final bill. I have been with Frontier for almost 14 years until I moved and it was no longer available to me. I loved that today--- my fourth time consuming attempt to settle this matter-- the rep suggested that I simply restart and finish out the contract. Great idea --- because I no longer live there and it is unavailable here. S-C-A-M in the fine print. Of course if you care about your credit and reputation you will pay it. Bullies! Shame!

Auto Renewal

Same as those above - not aware of the auto renewal especially when I've been adamant about not being in a contract. Now they want to charge me $200 to cancel because they've been giving me this great discount (10%) because I'm on auto renewal. What a crock of baloney. Supposedly sending it to their Legal office (which does not have a phone). Will be interesting to see if anything happens.

After speaking to them I tried to make an outgoing call and they didn't hang-up on their end so I can't use the phone!

Frontier business phone

We have been with Frontier for almost 4 years. I signed a two year contract, and the contract states that at the
end of the contract it will not be renewed automatically. Therefore, I recently cancelled my service because it was
$150 per month higher than Comcast. One month after cancellation, I received a bill for early termination of the contract
for $1900.00. I called Frontier regarding the bill, and they told me that they renewed the contract when they called one
year ago to tell me that they lowered my long distance fees. In that conversation , they never mentioned that they would
renew my contract . They will not allow me to listen to the taped conversation from over one and a half years ago. They
upsetting thing is, when I called to cancel, no one mentioned a contract or a fee. They were very rude today on the phone.
They will not adjust the bill, she just told me to pretty much shut up and pay.
