Historical inaccuracy

In Christmas in Evergreen: Tidings of Joy
The character of Katie tells the character of Ben that A Christmas Carol was written by Louisa May Alcott. It was Charles Dickens. Ms. Alcott was 11 years old when A Christmas Carol was published.

Go for it. Make gay movies. My family will find somewhere else to spend 8 hours a week.

Zola commercial

Our family was watching a wonderful hallmark movie based on a true story. It was late but our daughter was up late with us. During the commercial break there was a commercial from Zola with 2 women liplocking! Please Hallmark....we r fed up with having the gay agenda crammed down our throats! You are one of the few channels we thought we would not have to deal with this issue! Please remove this and any other gay, lesbian, bisexual or anything else it is called from your channels....we love u but wont keep watching with this type of ads.

Actresses' Hair

So tired of the Hallmark movie actresses' hair as the main feature of each movie. The volumes of hair hide their lovely faces and are so distracting especially when they are always pulling their hair from back to front and even caressing the masses of their tresses. Are they trying to hide from co-stars or the camera? Don't they feel adequate without two feet or three feet of hair hanging about their head?

Actresses' Hair

So tired of watching Hallmark movies in which the actresses' hair is the main attraction. Volumes of hair that must be front and center of every shot with the actress even pulling her hair around from back to front. They have lovely faces, the masses of hair have got to go. They look like they are trying to hide their head and upper body.

Grammar!

Please have your scripts reviewed! Please review your scripts. I enjoy your movies, but I cringe with poor grammar! Thanks!

Predictable, Steriotypical, Biased!

Who is steering the script writing at Hallmark Movies? Why, WHY, WHYYYYYYYYYYYY, do the writers INSIST all of their female leads have: LONG hair; BLONDE hair (even the older women - not a good look at all)? I can predict what will be presented in most of their Christmas movies: roasting chestnuts; tree lighting ceremonies; couples falling into each other to accelerate their relationship; mothers calling their kids, "sweetie." Oh, then there is the misunderstanding scenarios, where couples temporarily break up. How about the appearance of a token minority? Then there is the appearance of the lead woman appearing in a red dress at a party. Hallmark, you've become very predictable, stereotypical and biased. Time to bring in NEW writers in sync with the present. WAKE UP!

Xmas movies

Understand the seasonal movies with the same formula of accomplished white woman meets accomplished white man, then instantly fall in love after a little stressHow about representing the true world of diversity? People of color, gay people, trans people, different religions....thanks

Same Old Story Lilne

Doesn't anyone have an imagination anymore. Boy meets girl, boyfriend comes back in town. Every movie is about the same thing. Only thing I enjoy is the scenery in these movies. MUSIC IS SO LOUD THAT YOU CANNOT HEAR WHAT THEY ARE SAYING. Try doing a movie with no music in the background, and you will get a lot of good remarks instead of complaints.
So many people are sick and tired of these movies, and changing the channel. You do not even have to watch the last 15 minutes, because you know what is going to happen
Not sure if it was Hallmark or Lifetime movie, but its supposed to be rated G. Do not need kids to watch 2 guys kissing at the end, So much LGBTQ or whatever it is, they are jamming it down our throats everywhere. Do not need it on these movies.
We need some variety of movies. Not everyone has a big prestigious job in real life. People are struggling to make ends meet. How about a movie about the middle class, and how they can make their life better.
Everyone is a widow or widower , and for sure someone comes around to change their life. Too bad life is not like that

Christmas movies

I love the Hallmark channels except for this time of the year. WHY must you have nothing but Christmas movies on both channels for so long? You are actually making me sick of the season before it even gets here. Leave the mysteries alone and just put the Christmas movies on the one channel so we have a choice.

Non-viewer until January!!!

Movie Schedule doesn't match publicity

I have received a list of holiday movies from the Hallmark Crown store and from various print sources that absolutely don't match what is being aired.
My grief: IF Hallmark has the movies completed, don't change the title of the movie. I was hunting for one title only to find that it is now something totally different AND it is not airing when originally announced with the new name change! I have to hunt all sources of information to find when a particular movie is going to be aired. (I do not sit and watch all Hallmark's commercials previewing when a movie is releasing.)
IF Hallmark releases that a movie will be premiered on a certain date/time, totally under their control, DON'T change the schedule.
IF Hallmark has so many terrific movies in its reserve, DON'T constantly air the same movie over and over, broadcast some of the others. I kept a month's air times for a few movies and the same title appeared sometimes 3-4 times a week!
IF Hallmark controls it's broadcast times, keep the movies on even hours, so I can set the DVR and not miss beginnings or endings.
Otherwise, I love the Hallmark and Hallmark Movies/Mysteries lineup and the fact that violence, bad language and nudity are excluded.

Same shows over and over

I like the two networks but you show the same episodes over and over. As for Christmas I like them but I know you have more movies. How many times have you had the same movies on. Bring us some others. Makes no sense you can not add others previous movies that were on last years.
The same goes for regular programming you do the same thing with shows during the year.

Hallmark Movies and Mysteries

I've watched Movies and Mysteries since it began, and am a fan of the mystery series. However, now we suddenly have nothing but Christmas movies, for months on end. They did not show the scheduled show like Crossword Mystery which was scheduled. No more Murder She Wrote. Nothing but Christmas for months. It's ridiculous, and I won't be watching until my shows return. It's bad enough dealing with cable company changes, but now my favorite station disappears!

cutting off end of movies

I have watched three movies this week that went over the time and I didn't get to see the end. This is the first year this has happened. I have been an avid watcher of your two channels for over 8 years and never had this happen before. Do you have new management that can't seem to get it right? What's the point of watching your movies if I am not going to see the end which is always the happiest part of the story. I am 85 years old and depend on your channel for many hours of happy viewing. I would hate to have to stop watching. I hope you can fix this glitch so I can again enjoy your channels.

Bad bad grammar!!!

OMG!!! This is the 2nd year in a row I've come across your glaring grammar errors. Last year, someone OBVIOUSLY didn't learn the "i before e" rule and now this year, someone didn't learn the verb tenses!!! You wouldn't say "If I had told you, you wouldn't have WENT", you would say "f I had told you, you wouldn't have GONE". It's like a fingernail on a chalkboard to people who really know grammar. The way you guys had it written, it sounds like people with no education....FOR SURE". PLEASE, PLEASE hire college graduates who have degrees and masters in ENGLISH!!!!!!!!!!!! People who have had to write papers galore for English classes!!! My daughter graduated Magna Cum Laude in English @ her college just last May and could do waaaaaay better than that!!!

Christmas Scavenger Hunt - scene with Dustin & Belinda walking through the covered brdige & Dustin is telling Belinda why he didn't go with her to college....."If I had told you, you wouldn't have WENT". You wouldn't have GONE!!!!"

Grrrrrrrrr,

Hallmark Movies & Mysteries

I love your holiday movies, but why can't you star naturally aging actors and actresses? All I see on these shows are aging faces with plastic surgery on plastic surgery and enough Botox injections to give a 3,000 year old mummy more smile factor. For once I would like to watch a movie where the older actors embrace their age group and enjoy it without embellishments.

Only Christmas?

I understand the "Mystery" of Christmas, but it is NOT the only mystery. Make sure your advertisers know that you are not showing the consumers of your channel what they USED to watch at various times of the day. Maybe then will you keep an audience loyal.
