Vice Channel Sucks

I'm 28 and can't stand the Vice Channel crap... It certainly does not come close to representing who I am. I specifically changed my channel package on Directv to delete the Vice Channel I suggest others do the same as well. No need to support this crap with our hard earned $$$$$

Vice sucks badly

Oh my lord does this channel suck. I'm all about trying new things but the problem is there is nothing original or interesting about millennialist tV. It's all a rip off and a sad sad attempt at being cool.. The leftist agenda wreaks ignorance and they looks pathetically stupid.. Why even get into details.. What a stinker.. Mellenials are having issues finding their way and this channel proves it.. What else to do but get high and bitch and complain about everything. Snooze please. Your better off running ancient aliens and shows ofnthe like 24 7 .. Saving in overhead and sparing the channel slot. Painful stuff. This channel has proven how misguided the left really is.. Complain about everything and have no intellectual reasoning to solve what naturally occurs in the balance of nature in the first place.. Ugh.

I want H2 back

I was a viewer of the H2 channel. I am not a viewer of Vice. That is one less viewer. I guarantee there are thousands of "me" out there. Thanks for showing us how to lose money and viewers, dumbasses.

Vice is an exteamly poor replacement for H2

If I could block one channel out of the hundreds it would be the new Vice channel. This channel alone could be the sole reason for me to abandon satellite TV in search of better programming.

Thank you for abandoning the concept that history could be interesting and challenging. Maybe you should read a few of these complaints..... Whoever would purchase advertising time on Vice must like wasting time and money as there is absolute 0 chance of any return on their advertising dollars.

Please relegate this crap to the scrap heep of history and move back to exploring our past and not alternative lifestyles.

Signed: Discouraged and previous long time viewer.

Vice programming on the History channel

So now we not only have a great channel (H2) taken away, but VICE programs being shown on the History channel. Come on guys, keep the vice crap on the viceland channel that was forced upon an unwilling viewership and leave the remaining history channel alone.

Viceland:Pure Crap

Undiluted sewage. No wonder it's ratings are a fraction of H2's...dope-smoking twenty-somethings don't watch cable, you morons.

Worst corporate rebranding since New Coke.

Viceland

Viceland is not a show that I would pay for if I had a choice; however, it is bundled with my cable package. What options do we have to access the H2 shows that Viceland replaced? The show is tacky and is not of any worthwhile quality. I watched both History Channels and AHC; but refuse to attempt to give Viceland the benefit of any doubt any longer. The show and programming is horrible and does not serve any real purpose. If you are attempting to reach an younger or divergent audience with this program, I would suffice to say that the attempt has failed. The younger people I know in my family, church, and school either don't watch Viceland, think that the programming is stupid, or don't know that it exists. Will the programmers at A&E listen to our collective and disappointed voices or is this something that you are going to proceed with, regardless of the disgust with the show(s)? Please provide feedback to your consumer base; however, start by eliminating this horrible channel and restore H2.

Viceland is a loser... cut your losses

H2 has been my goto channel for years. Inspiring and thought provoking programming that was sincerely enjoyed and appreciated by most of my family, including my young children. It motivated them to think for themselves, question authority and what is deemed conventional wisdom. They asked questions and came up with their own answers. The point here is that is now lost. There is no simple replacement, except perhaps piecemeal programming from various channels.

On the other side of the spectrum, we have Viceland. Ill-conceived and future root cause of A&E executive firings, ownership should take responsibility of this failed experiment and drop it like a bad habit. It's not too late for them to cut their losses with this loser.

I hate viceland

Really!?! How stupid do network executives think we are? I just wiz right past that channel now and will never, ever watch viceland. With all the available unused channels, why wasn't a new channel started, rather than completely deleting a viable, popular channel? And where are all the H2 shows that were promised to still be seen on the history channel? Why the need to change something that worked and that a large demographic enjoyed watching? That's not good business sense, nor is it the least reassuring that this network can be trusted. Bad move guys, bad move.

alternative to H2

Since VICE, is not turning back to H2... And the promise that the favorite shows would then be moved to The History Channel. ... And that's not happening. ... we need to share alternative viewing

YouTube : there are plenty of H2 style shows to download with minimal commercials
PBS: you'd be surprised how cool this has become: secret of the dead, the national parks
NatGeo: explorer, cradle of the gods
Travel: mystery at the museum / castle / monument
Science : Nasa unexplained files
AMERI: aliens (but more conspiracy than history ), see YouTube for Ancient Aliens)
Pivot : angry planet (geography style)

VICE-THING is more like a boil which won't go away. We need to push other channels to continue to fill the void, and support those channels -boycott sponsors who support VICE

ViceLand over H2????

What is wrong with these programming people. I can't believe I was the only one watching H2 constantly. I downgraded my pkg to not have viceland, how stupid.
Everything good about the history channel is gone now, o hardly watch it anymore. Reality shows are not HISTORY OR EDUCATIONAL!!!!! HELLO?? Thanks to this, I am cutting the wire on June 15th when my contract is up. Between that, hallmark crybaby movies and shows, and increasingly stupid TBS.......I'm done with cable.

Viceland

How can you go from an educational channel like H2 to the GARBAGE now being shown on "viceland". I used to enjoy my children watching the educational type programs you used to show. Now I need to make sure the channel is blocked for the sake of my children.

We Want H2 Channel Back

Why take a perfectly good channel, and turn it into something that would have a completely different type of viewing audience. Take a hint from the Internet, any websites that get high volume is very valuable, because people know about it and know what to expect. Why not create a new channel to broadcast your experimental television shows. I see these types of shows popping up all over various channels, I believe it to be a fad that people will loose interest in quickly. While I am not gay, I am not prejudice against gay people, I live in San Francisco, but I can't imagine that shows geared toward gay people have a larger demographic base than shows geared toward real history, I'm sure there are less gay males under 50 than non-gay people over 50 and I'd be willing to bet that more of the over 50 people are home watching their television sets than gay males under 50. Give us our H2 channel back, it was good wholesome television watching where you could actually learn something while watching. I believe I learned more about geography from Ancient Aliens than my college Geography class. Bring it back now before it's too late. The longer you wait to bring it back the more opportunity your viewers have to investigate other options. I'd also like to know why it was only cancelled in the US, but is still available outside of our country, that to me is more like a slap in the face.

A&E Networks ARE LIARS

When A&E networks announced that they were taking of H2 to replace it with the garbage laden Viceland - They 'promised' that H2 programs would be shifted to the main History channel. I haven't seen any H2 shows on History have you? No instead I see marathons of their stupid reality shows and non-history related crap. YOU LIE A&E! Liars!

Viceland and History suck

Come on, guys. The experiment is over. Viceland is complete garbage. As I write this, that channel is showing the movie "Warriors"! Are you f-ing kidding me?! And I completely agree with one of the posters below, The History Channel isn't really The History Channel. That's the reason I loved H2. There was actual content on that channel, not just a bunch of idiotic reality shows. Listen to the people who pay your bills and make the necessary corrections. This isn't the only forum where these things are being discussed.

H2 Disaster

Nope, not gonna do it. I can watch Youtube for free. Why in the world would I pay for viceland? In fact, most of the videos I watch on YouTube are much better than those on viceland. I watched H2 because H1 isn't a history channel anymore. Seriously, hours upon hours of pawn stars, swamp people, american pickers, counting cars, top gear, etc. So....which one of these is about history...any history? Unbelievable! If there is anyone out there who can create and produce a channel about real history, now is the time to make your move.

Someone has to be blamed for this!

When H2 announced they were becoming Viceland, I had no idea what "Vice" or vice.com was... I guess I'm not in the preferred demographic. I quickly found out and thought some of the shows sounded interesting as I have a genuine interest in a few of the topics. Then I tried to watch some of them... After 10 minutes of some one winning how unfair life has treated them or how cool it is to get high while I watch them get high.... I have to change the channel.... These aren't "documentaries" their "opinion-mentaries" at the best... There is no hard facts just liberal far left wing BS. Someone made a mistake when they decided to replace H2. So A&E look at yourself closely and decide what is serving your best interest. Your advertisers are paying for adds that very few are watching.

This is all we need is to cater more to the minority of degenerate fagot lesbian and she-he's

This bullshit channel should be treated like Playboy, and other deviant porn channels on cable, and dish. It only shows children that being a deviant is a good thing. What we need is a fagot rehab channel where these people get help to not be sexual deviants. You go from history stuff that helps the youth to this shit'

Viceland

What are you thinking? If you choose to air the Viceland programming put it in a different area, away from where family viewers have to see it run by. I truly hope you put H2 back on, quit dummying down your content.

loss of shows

When H2 was going to be replaced, it was advertised that certain shows would air on History. I have not yet found these shows being aired on History. If I am missing them, please let me know. If they are still to be programmed in, why don't you tell us? I feel clueless and lost about waiting for my watched shows to air. Personally, I am not interested in the content of Viceland. I really don't know any millennial person who is. They are busy doing other things than watching TV!

HISTORY!

When H2 was phased out for VICE the ads said you can still caught your favorite H2 shows back on History where they belonged. History is still full of pawn shops and yards sales. NO HISTORY1

Viceland channel

I am very upset that A&E Networks chose to remove a great educational, entertaining and informative channel like History Channel H2 and replace it with a crass, junk channel like Viceland. They obviously have no idea who their demographic is, at all. This will make me consider giving up cable all together. What a sad testament to today's culture. Very sad indeed.
