Rude Cashier

We were shopping at the King Soopers at Hwy 287 and Miramonte Blvd. Today December 31st. at 12 noon we tried to ask Mary a question who works as a cashier for
many years, we wanted to ask her about a price check and she just laughed at us and kept walking we feel this is poor,
customer service. We have been shopping at this store for many years and never been treated like this before. We feel she was rude to us.

Very Bad Customer Service

Hello Russ,

I am writing this email to advise you of the simply deplorable customer service I received today at King Soopers – Hampden/Tower. For years this has been my key store and I have spent thousands of dollars monthly. However, after today, I am certainly rethinking my grocery buying from King Soopers.
You see my purse was stolen today from this King Soopers. Though the theft was no fault of your store, the aftereffects will linger on.

Within minutes of my discovering the theft, I advised your clerk, an older Asian woman of the theft. Instead of offering me any assistance, she began to scream at me that I had my purse with me. When I advised her I did not, she begin to argue loudly throwing accusations my way of my dropping the purse, eventually she walked away saying “oh well, I can’t help you”. She even argued with me directly in front of your manager.

It was me who requested a manager, me who waited and waited and waited for one to finally appear. Although Bob was certainly friendly, he was unable to locate anyone on your security team, loss prevention – anyone who could assist. He also mentioned that even if they did find someone, no one knew who to run a tape to see what occurred.
I finally left after sometime only to follow up 2 hours later and be hung up on by Natasha – (who declared she could not call back since she did not have my number, where was the contact information that I left?
Had to place another follow up call where I was directed to your security Jerry who advised me that the personnel was allowed to take breaks and they followed up when they found time. He questioned me very rudely on my time of contacting the police. I of course advised him my instructions from Bob, the manager was that the police response time would be more than 2 hours so I was better off calling from home.

My thoughts – this was my purse, suppose it had been my young child. Would I have had to deal with a surly clerk, missing manager, non-existent loss prevention, lax security personnel, no one to read a security tape and blame the customer mentality.
See we shop where we are appreciated and this overly lax of concern coupled with the lack of security has made us all question where our dollars will be spent from now own. I, my family, friends, our business and Facebook audience put our money were the customer service is.
Is this deplorable service what should be expected from now on?

Joanne

I asked Joanne where I could find some hot dog buns and she literally pointed down the aisle, I thought ok I guess I am on own. Later I saw her talking very rude to an employee on the sales floor. This woman should not be in a business where customer service should be a priority. I felt bad for the young man she was talking to and left my cart of groceries. I will not be returning to that location. That lady should have stayed home with her head under the covers today.

poor quality fuel

I purchased fuel from the Bennett King Soopers after work. I had been using Conoco fuel and the car ran great. I had $1.00 off fuel credits from Kings and decided to try it. Car sat over night. Next morning I drove 30 miles from house (temperature was cold). Midday I started home (temperature now in the mid 60's). Car began stalling, dying and backfiring as well as losing almost all power. I am an ASE mechanic. I started by changing fuel filter. What I got out of my filter was not gasoline. It was almost pure alcohol. I decided at that point to drain tank and put good conoco fuel back in which I did. After that the car still lost power but now it smokes heavily and wont idle at all. Replaced o2 sensor and checked fuel pump pressure which was good. No help. King Soopers refuses to help. The referred me to their third party complaint unit that denied my claim. I feel that they are calling me a liar and trying to scam them. This is not the case. Bottom line- They sold me a product that damaged my vehicle and are unwilling to correct the problem. All I have had is runarounds and passing the buck from them.

King sooper Gas Station Price rip off

I get me gas at the stetson Hills Blv station in Colorado Springs and the past week they have raised there prices 20 cents Hire then every gas station in Colorado Springs everyone else's Gas price is $3.07 Gal King Soopers gas is 3.27 to 3.29 a Gal on Reg unleaded this is very wrong so what good is the discount price of 3 cents when you buy food in the store your not saveing anything this is called riping off the Customers so if this is the way King soopers runs thing with the gas I will never buy gas or maybe food eather again from them I am going to call the state of Colorado weights and mesures

He never once offered a new card or anything. He simply said "it doesn't work lady". I finally just paid full price for my items and walked out. He never cared. I ended up paying about 5 dollars more than what I should.
