I will tell all my family and friends what a horrible experience this has been.

Washing machine which is 2 months old breaks! Takes a repair tech one week to come by and "fix it", no time frame till day of. Comes in for 2 minutes to tell me he needs to order a pump and will call me when it comes in. Ok so my whole day I took off work for repair tech to come in for 2 min??? Then 2 days later I get a call that the part is in but the earliest they can come is another week, and again no time frame??!! I requested if they could please give me a window of time. I am 9 months pregnant and have to see my dr. that day but also want my machine fixed. The repair center in Farmingdale, NY has absolutely no compassion, the answer I get is they can maybe request a time frame but can't guarantee it. Just ridiculous! I will never do business with this "family" company ever again! And I will tell all my family and friends what a horrible experience this has been.

I would never recommend you or make another purchase from your business in P C Richard and Son in Paramus NJ.

On a monthly basis I call to make my payments and your automated system does not recognize my information. It states it is invalid. Due to this, I am forced to make a payment with a representative charging me an additional three dollars every month. Instead of fixing the issue I am told to go to the store to pay or make a payment online. I do not do online bill pay for any bills and I shouldn't be forced into a payment method I don't want to use. You are scamming people into paying more money. The persons I spoke on the phone with were extremely rude and mocked me because of my "making a big deal over three dollars", not realizing I could hear him. I asked for a manager who then told me he needed to transfer me to another department who gave me the runaround and stated she couldn't fix the automated system. Well who can? Ridiculous. Very poor service. I would never recommend you or make another purchase from your business in P C Richard and Son in Paramus NJ.

Disgusted In P C Richard and Son in Paramus NJ.

Purchased a French Door Refrigerator Approximately less than 3 years ago. Experienced Problems with the Unit. Immediately called P C Richard and Son in Paramus NJ and we were sent to service. It was the Ice Machine not making Ice. 3 times we had Service to Fix it but they could not figure out the problem and we were told its just the model or our water supply, etc., etc., etc... WELL less than 3 years later, I HAVE A HUNK OF JUNK. The unit leaks water all over our floor because Ice builds up on the bottom so we have had to put a towel on the floor so we don't slip and fall.

Now here is the kicker. We have to every two weeks defrost our freezer manually or else the ice is building in the back of the freezer creating a loud buzzing noise so we called P C Richard and Son in Paramus NJ and told them that from Day ONE we have had problems. Now they have come to a point of not livable anymore. I was promised a call back but no one has even bothered. I bought my Stove, Dishwasher from them in the past and they also have problems. I will never buy another appliance from this store because it seems odd that they don't replace items that are not working when you first get them and obviously in my case don't last. We spent quite a bit of money on this refrigerator that has never worked right now not working without hours of work every two weeks putting our freezer food in a cooler and defrosting it the old fashioned way for hours just to have a functional freeze and don't forget having to use a hair dryer to get all the water out of this fairly NEW appliance. Disgusted In P C Richard and Son in Paramus NJ.

My advice, not to buy your appliances in P C Richard and Son in Paramus NJ, screw their warranty and get it serviced by someone else

I will admit that my husband and I got a great deal on the stainless steel fridge, stove, dishwasher and microwave here, but the warranties they offer are useless. Our fridge and microwave have broken recently and nothing was covered. I called over a month ago and the parts just came in! They have had a service man come out here 2 times now only to find that they need more parts, which will have to be ordered, and they forgot all about the parts for the fridge! Now I have to wait again and the cost is over 1400 dollars! I could have bought a new microwave and just lived with the broken part on the fridge. My advice, not to buy your appliances in P C Richard and Son in Paramus NJ, screw their warranty and get it serviced by someone else.

I asked for a replacement. Craig Ruppert , rude, condescending, horrible. In the end,

I had a VERY similar experience, and would do nearly anything to see that company put out of business and the owners sent to jail!!

I bought 3 appliances from them for over $1000 and ALL THREE DIDN'T WORK!!! So finally I got a repair person to come fix the washer and drier, but not the fridge! He came back 8 times and STILL THE FRIDGE DID NOT WORK! They stopped taking my calls. Craig Ruppert the owner was incredibly rude every time I talked with her. Kevin the repair guy stopped taking my calls. I finally asked to have the unit replaced and they didn't call me back. I fought them for a YEAR through my credit card company and finally, to no avail. I also worked with the Better Business Bureau, to no avail. I would be VERY happy to testify against them in a law suit- anyone? anyone?

Today, 2-3 years later, I just learned that my 60 year old step-father made the mistake of calling them to repair his ice-maker. NOOOOOOO!!! They paid the guy, and 2 visits later, STILL NOT FIXED. Sheisters. Don't know what they're doing. And Craig Ruppert has been incredibly rude to my mother!!! Oh I'm fuming. ...hatred is a very strong word, but these people are deserving of it. Any positive reviews I assure you are insiders.

Even the Lowes guy who delivered my new fridge, when I finally bought a new one because all my food had spoiled- he had the SAME EXPERIENCE!! Told me about buy a lemon drier he had bought from them, no returns, no service, never fixed, never replaced!!!!

STAY AWAY from P C Richard and Son in Paramus NJ, but never did get the job done- then stopped taking my calls as soon as I asked for a replacement. Craig Ruppert , rude, condescending, horrible. In the end, ALL OF THEM ARE SHEISTERS!

P C Richard and Son in Paramus NJ does not stand behind their product. DO NOT BUY VIKING!!!

I have a Viking four burner range with convection oven. In the 13 years I have owned this I have changed all the igniters twice, the igniter control module once and the oven door hinges twice. The latest breakdown is that the baffle under the oven floor detached due to rust, damaging the burners and ignitor. I called to make a warranty claim - "Lifetime warranty against rust," it says in my owner's manual. I called customer service and was advised with Viking this warranty only applies to the stainless steel parts... the parts that don't rust. P C Richard and Son in Paramus NJ does not stand behind their product. DO NOT BUY VIKING!!!

I bought a t.v at P C Richard and son in Paramus nj. the tv sound is defective.A technicion came out and now the picture is blacked out on both sides.they keep expecting me to loose time at work to sit at home all day to try to fix it again,I have to loose pay for their mistake.horrable horrable service.tryed to tell me some channels are like that.really!

Will never purchase anything from this company P C Richard and Son in Paramus NJ ever again and I would not recommand anyone purchase anything from here. You have to be really careful with their special promotion offers always read the fine print, because they will try to drive customers to their store by making offers seem one way but then the fine print stating other wise. Be careful on their take an additional 10% off offer, price match offer and also their offer. I know this company is more for people with less than perfect credit, but that doesent mean you have to get less than perfect service......

Because of this P C Richard and Son in Paramus NJ has cause my credit score to drop.

Two years ago, paid my account off and found out two years later that my check didn't go through. I was told by customer service that their computer system took the payments and it became an overpayment which brought it to their attention. I offered to pay what I owe but they refused to take off penalties and interest and take off negative credit remarks. They finally gave me a settlement on my account and I paid what I owed. But have refused to take off negative credit remarks or send me anything in writing for what I settled for. Because of this P C Richard and Son in Paramus NJ has cause my credit score to drop.

p c richard and son is a place where I've shopped for many things..the salesman I had was awesome ...the service dept on the other hand is the worst ...dont buy extended service contracts from them ...first they sell you a contract for lets say 3 years and the appliance you buy has a year warranty on it already ..so they beat you for a year off the bat...then you call them for service, THAT TOOK THEM OVER A MONTH TO TRY and FIX MY DISHWASHER and you get no service at all!!! HONESTY..INTEGRITY..RELIABILTY.. [yeah right]

I for one will never shop at PC RICHARDS ever again...cost me twice to install the dishwasher I bought from them .. and they could care less SHAME ON YOU RICHARD YOU ARE NOT RELIABLE AND YOU JUST LOST A REAL GOOD CUSTOMER... k STURM ...ONE VERY PISSED OFF CUSTOMER...

P C Richard and Son in Paramus NJ and admit that I am not too happy.

I just had my samsung 5.0 cu ft washer delivered. I purchased the 5 yr extended warranty. In total I spent over $780. When the 2 guys delivered the washer to my garage... they asked me if i wanted them to take the old washer. I said no. They left the new one in the garage, and when i asked them if they were going to hook it up... they said that it's only 2 hoses and that I can do it myself. I then asked them if they were suppose to take my old washer and they said yes. I told them to at least disconnect the washer and move it so that I would be able to put the new washer in place. They did. I am very upset that they didn't set up the washer (which i paid for) and told me that there are only 2 hoses to hook up. Wasn't this part of my installation? I have purchased many things from P C Richard and Son in Paramus NJ and admit that I am not too happy.

I got a refrigerator that does not work

I am furious with the store in Paramus NJ. On July 2014, I purchased a SAMSUNG refrigerator in kitchen appliances. Store at P C Richard and Son in Paramus NJ. In August 2014, the refrigerator stopped working. Had to dump all my food in the garbage. Sales associate telling me to call Customer Service. Customer Service would have someone to come out and look at it. I am still waiting. Called Samsung and they say I need to contact the store. I got a refrigerator that does not work and out of my pocket. Called my Debit Card Holder, Wells Fargo Bank, and a customer representative advise me to wait until customer service technician shows up. If after that I am not satisfied with the refrigerator, I can pursue to get a payback refund on my debit card. My wife is going back to the store today, Aug. 2014, to talk to the Store Manager Craig Ruppert. .

Never again will I buy from P C Richard and Son in Paramus NJ

I purchased a front load washer & dryer back in March 2014. The very next day I called P C Richard and Son in Paramus NJ for service repair. Two months later service showed up. In the meantime P C Richard and Son promised they would defer my payments until the problem was resolved. Three weeks ago problem was resolved and now P C Richard and Son is blowing up my phone about past due payments. Every time I call P C Richard and Son it's the same song & dance... Nobody wants to tell me why my payments have not been deferred. I wish P C Richard and Son would just come and get the washer & dryer and let me forget I ever did business with them. Never again will I buy from P C Richard and Son in Paramus NJ or recommend buying from P C Richard and Son in Paramus NJ.

P C Richard and Son in Paramus NJ is a TERRIBLE business with ZERO communication and customer service skills.

My husband and I purchased a LG TrueSteam washer and dryer set from P C Richard and Son in Paramus NJ because they had a sale and were by far the best price we found - that is the only good thing I have to say about this company.
We schedule deliver for August and were told we would get a courtesy call the day before deliver, that never happened. My husband called to confirm deliver as we had not received the phone call and was told that they weren't delivering on August because the dryer wasn't in stock... WE had to call THEM to find this out. They rescheduled deliver for 2 days, put us on the last delivery time slot of the day between 5:00-9:00PM - initially this made me mad, but it wasn't a huge deal until they never called at all (we were told they would call 30 minutes before delivery) and never showed up.

We called again and told the customer service rep that the driver never called or showed up, and they said there was nothing they could do as it was too late in the day. He asked when we could reschedule for delivery and at that time, we didn't know our work schedule for the week, so we said we would call back in the AM to schedule. We got a call at 8:00 am the following day trying to confirm delivery for 1-2PM... We never scheduled delivery, they just decided that's when THEY wanted to deliver... We weren't available at that time so we had to reschedule again.

Before rescheduling my husband spoke with a supervisor who apologized profusely and said that she would personally guarantee that our delivery would take place on between 4:30-7:30. It's currently 7:50 and no delivery, no phone call. We just got off the phone with CS and they said the driver was running late and has one more stop before he can make it out to our house. More than likely, we will be waiting until past 10:00pm for him to unload and install everything.

I would strongly suggest you pay a bit more for your appliances from somewhere that has a great delivery reputation. P C Richard and Son in Paramus NJ is a TERRIBLE business with ZERO communication and customer service skills. I would never suggest my worst enemy shop here.

I keep in my fridge. I'm very disappointed.

I purchase a refrigerator in 2014. I hadn't enjoy the refrigerator a whole year before we woke up to smoke. The fridge had burnt up inside. I call P C Richard and Son in Paramus NJ. It took 2 weeks for a tech to come out. When the tech repair the fridge, went to use the water dispenser. The water was leaking in the fridge. I personally call the tech. He responded problem solve. This was July 2014. 3 months later, woke up again. Kitchen is smoke out. Fridge burnt up again. It took 2 weeks for a tech to come out. After calling mit manager Joseoh Botros Jr.at P C Richard and Son in Paramus NJ. and tech, my fridge was diagnose unrepairable. It's going on almost a week with a response to another fridge. I call the tech to make sure he have submitted the information that they need to ensure me a replacement. Still I call P C Richard and Son in Paramus NJ. saying they waiting on the tech. I'm a diabetic that's on insulin I keep in my fridge. I'm very disappointed.

What a horrible experience at this place. P C Richard and Son in Paramus NJ.

I originally purchased a 60" Samsung and within a week it went out. After five repairs I asked that the tv be replaced but was told the tv was no longer available. I was very upset but agreed to exchange it for another brand after three months of paying on a broken product. A warranty was offered on original purchase but they told me I could come back later so I waited and that's when the tv broke. Now on the second purchase I was never offered an extended warranty and if I had been I would have got it considering the second was cheaper price than original. Now the second tv is broken and they tell me that my warranty has expired and there is nothing that they can do other than charge me to fix it. What a horrible experience at this place. P C Richard and Son in Paramus NJ.

I called the store, spoke to store mit manager Joseph Botros Jr 8246

I purchased LG washer & dryer 2014. After delivery I have called everyday since trying to get someone in the store and help center to determine why washer machine was so loud. They finally sent service guy to fix washer. The two guys took off the pedestals because they couldn't balance the washer. In the process they damaged the units when trying to take them off. They were taking the units back to replace them, but their mit manager Joseph Botros Jr. 8246 told them to leave the damaged pedestals in my garage. I called the store, spoke to store mit manager Joseph Botros Jr 8246**. He stated I couldn't return the pedestals because they were damaged even though not due to my faults. I have called everyone in company and I continue to get the runaround.

I purchased a washer at the end of 2013 and as of August 2014 the washer has broken 4 times since the time I received it. I have called numerous times and complained to P C Richard and Son in Paramus NJ Mit Manaager Joseph Botros Jr and Samsung about this reoccurring problem and they have yet to live up to their 100% Satisfaction! In June we called for service and P C Richard and Son in Paramus said they would come and pick up the washer and give us a check to purchase a new one and then went against their word and tried to "fix it"!

C Richard and Son in Paramus NJ had an attitude over the phone

I placed an order at one of P C Richard and Son in Paramus NJ store to be pick up at another PC Richard.first thing is when I went to pick up the item the sales Nick S person added an item that I did not need.

the item I ordered was not in the store and I was told that the item was not even ordered to be delivered at that store, so I have to wait another week. second week arrived and my item was not still at the store. the staff at P C Richard and Son in Paramus NJ had an attitude over the phone and was insisting that I placed the order to be delivered at home instead of me picking it up from the store. three weeks later my order was not delivered and they were giving me run around from the store I placed the order to the other store.

I decided to canceled my order.the worst customer service and the worst service I had ever had.

This is unacceptable and incompetent

The drum cracked in my dryer still under warrantee.Waited two weeks for appointment just to be told they need to order a new drum.

Three weeks later an appointment was made to replace the drum. Repairman arrived and notice the small box he held in his hand was NOT a dryer drum. He said "they" ordered the wrong part. Now I have taken two days off from work.

Waited another three weeks to have the drum replaced only to be told that morning ( after taking off another day of work), that "they" ordered the wrong part AGAIN!!!

I called the service department and asked to speak to he supervisor. The receptionist would not put me through and only took a message. It is now 6 hours since I called and no call back.

This is unacceptable and incompetent .

sales personnel to the rudeness of the delivery department and lack of knowledge of the installers

I could add my complaints to the list about the lack of caring of the sales personnel to the rudeness of the delivery department and lack of knowledge of the installers and the fact that I order an ice maker with the refrigerator and they "forgot it" but seeing the many bad reviews on this page I don't think anyone in this family own business reads the reviews and if they do they must not care, This company is just getting worse to deal with. Five years ago I would have recommend it but do not feel the same today.

I bought a dryer and was told max 6 days I'll get it.I waited a week and got a call saying that I was going to get it the next day.

Three hour later I got a call saying the warehouse will be closed so I'll get it 4-5 days. I don't know what kind of people work for this company but I'm never going back there again.

I canceled my order and went somewhere else with free delivery and got it the next day.This happen in P C Richard and Son in Paramus NJ and the guy Mit Manager Joseph Botros Jr. needs to leave this company.

My mother and I visited P C Richards and son in Paramus NJ this past Sunday we were looking for a washing machine in the dryer.A nice man helped us out he was very polite and nice.

We were about to buy the washing machine and dryer when my mom saw the price she made a comment how in best buy was cheaper and showed the man that's was helping us out named Mark a paper showing how much it cost in best buy. Joe went to show the mit manager Joseph Botros Jr.the paper to see what he could do so we would not leave PC Richard and Son in Paramus NJ, he did something and then he handed it over to mark who was helping us Joe did everything and called the mit manager Joseph Botros Jr for a password and then the manager checked everything marked had done and saw a few things that was wrong and he had a nasty attitude with mark and then when the manager fixed it he said that he was off by a dollar because he was comparing both prices and my mom didn't like it he had a nasty attitude and changed it with bad attitude the price so we would be at the same price. It was an unpleasant visit.

The man that helped us out was very nice.but the mit manager Joseph Botros Jr. had a nasty attitude and it made my mother and my visit unpleasant.

This is when I find out that P C RICHARD AND SON DOES NOT SERVICE WHAT THEY SELL!

On June 7th I called P C Richard and Son in Paramus NJ to tell them that my brand new Bosch $1,279 dishwasher stopped working!!No power, no lights, NOTHING!
This is when I find out that P C RICHARD AND SON DOES NOT SERVICE WHAT THEY SELL! They assign me a repair company. They come out June 10th. They have no idea what happened to the dishwasher, so they order the motor, the controller board, the power switch, the control something else.

Today is June 22nd. STILL NO DISHWASHER. PARTS ARE ON BACK ORDER! I want a new dishwasher?

How long does P C RICHARD AND SON THINK IS ACCEPTABLE? They are getting back to me....as I read on my warranty....WE SERVICE WHAT WE SELL...DO NOT BUY FROM P C RICHARD AND SON. CHEAPEST WINS!!

P C Richard and Son in Paramus NJ has lost a previously loyal customer

P C Richard and Son in Paramus NJ has lost a previously loyal customer due to failure to deliver as promised. Ordered a kitchenaid d/w in the store and was promised ("absolutely there in 1 week, but not in store stock so will order"), checked the following week to confirm delivery time, told by mit manager Joseph Botros Jr. that earliest possible date would be in 2 weeks, but he would get back to me.
Following day I had to call to catch him. ("Sorry, earliest date would be total of 16 days.") We cannot wait this long,
so I called AJ Madison. Same model, color, etc. with extended warranty, installation, removal, can be delivered in 4 days
AND was $300 less!!! I have cancelled the PCR order. Previously you were a reputable company. No longer, it seems.
