Scam?
I have read through all the posts and am really confused. The truck that was talked about is something you have to sign up for and it clearly states it is from Outdoor Adventures Inc. and gives stipulations as to what it is all about. I signed up for the truck and of course did not win but got some great plastic metal looking his and her watches :-) We went on the tour and were impressed with what we saw. Of course the sales people are nice, they want you to buy a membership but that does not mean they are not also nice people to begin with. We have been members for going on 5 years and have not had any real legit complaints. We were told right from the get go what was what for the membership. You are told up front about the maintenance fee and it is right in the contract and it is something you pay up front when you buy so it should not be a surprise. It is really nice to come on out and never have to leave the resort. Everything is right there. Now the Davison resort is large and crowded most of the time and mostly quiet in the evening hours. Every resort has something to offer and if you check around, a lot of campgrounds and even private resorts charge for certain activities that Outdoor Adventures does not. For example, kayaks, row boats, mini golf, checking out of games like horse shoes. I hope that we never get to the point of not liking the resorts but as for now, we are really satisfied. Thanks for reading.

Outdoor adventures is a scam!
Do not believe a word out of their mouthes! It is a scam full of lies and empty promises. They breach their contracts every day and refuse to handle complaints, but if you stop paying until they hold up their end of the bargain, they will harass and threaten you mercilessly! They are incompetent and belligerent. Once you are conned into a contract, the helpfulness stops and you are just another easy payday to them. Was never able to use my "free week" vouchers because there was "never any availability"! Beware and be warned...you are throwing away money on lies and incompetency.

Outdoor Adventures
Biggest rip off ever. Thanks to the ass, John, that scammed us. I still have his name and phone number. My husband wants to knock him out. He wants to get a group of people to go up there as newbies and raise hell! We thought after 5years it was ours and then our kids - well, that was a bull crap line from the ass, John, who signed us up. Nope, made our last payment and they want more! Now, why would I pay more when people are trying to sell them on Craigslist for $1000???????? Yeah, a $1000!!!
Unbelievable! I'll get over it eventually, but I'm no mad at this place that I could scream!

Outdoors Adventure IS a scam!
So to the person on here telling us to go to BBB about this SH*THOLE company, we did that. We were also informed that they weren't going to do anything about it and NEVER POSTED A COMPLAINT on their site. What is the point of having BBB if they aren't going to help the people they are there to protect?!?! I can not tell you the amount of people who I have talked to who have ALSO had issues with this place. Save your money, I wouldn't even take a LIFETIME membership for free. It may have been a good deal years ago, but these days good luck getting in.... Save your money and go visit NICE places, this place stinks... LITERALLY!

Outdoors Adventures is a scam!
I am so happy I googled this Outdoor Adventures today! They called me last night and told me I won a chance at a truck. My BS detector was set to high so I googled this place and surprise, surprise it is indeed a scam! What I cannot figure out is how Outdoor Adventures can get away with this. As well as how people can be so naive as to drive so far for a chance to win . For me I live in Grosse Ile, MI and the drive would have been roughly two hours. Better Business Bureau should really investigate complaints about this company. What a shame:(
