see they have put 10 sterling up by 20 pence what a rip off 4.15 for ten of these well time to find another brand bye bye rip offs

I've noticed over the last couple of weeks that I've only been getting 17 cigarettes in a pack Players are the same but you get 18 when I buy them I am told they are packs with 19 in them nothing but a rip off

It is discussing to be paying over £7 for 17 fags I have smoked sterling for years now and was wondering why I was running out by the end of the day after counting them before smoking any this morning I am disgusted and feel ripped off at the fact 3 fags were missing if I'm paying good money for 20 fags I expect what I've paid for and the sneaky shits don't even put how many fags are in there on the box anymore I feel violated I won't be buying from them again that's for sure

Can you please tell me why when I go in to my local paper shop and ask for 20 sterling that when I open the packet there is only 17 what a rip off won't buy them again.
It doesn't state how many are in the packet on the outside

This just proves the greed of makers of cigarettes take as much money for the least amount of product the tax on cigarettes is bad enough if we all quit smoking at the same time the Goverment of the U.K. Would be up the creek but the manufacturers of cigarettes would be also I choose to smoke because I enjoy it and now it it's the objective of Goverment and manufacturers to exploit enjoyment what happened to freedom of choice???? Hang your heads in shame and grab all the money you can out of people's enjoyment your a disgrace as is the Goverment all though no surprise there they can't even to be bothered to dredge the waterways shame on you all, grab your hearts out people will vote and change who they buy their cigarettes from change of brand coming up and perhaps location

I have bought a pack of 18 Sterling Blue, it says 18 on the plastic but there was only 17 in the pack. How the hell can I prove this, sadly I cannot but I did get 17 when it said 18 on the plastic pack. I am a very unhappy bunny about this. What do I do now, do I record every time I buy a pack and open it on camera?
Tell me please, what do I do from here, I am really not lying, I really was missing a cigarette.

Shocked and appalled not buying sterling again... One pound extra for lambert and butler and you get 20 shocking absolute daylight robbery

Why has there been no warning of you stealing our fags out of our box.. I still ask for 20 and presume I'm getting 20 why were we not informed of the decrease in pack size... I will not be buying sterling anymore as I feel we have been ripped off I don't mind paying the extra pound or whatever to actually get what I'm asking for o think it's absolutely shocking and an absolute disgrace!!!!

Like others on this site,I have been misled and uniformed about 20 menthol super kings bu sterling not being 20 in box but 17 it's not stated on the box. And when asking the vendor for 20 sterling I'm not being told, no madam there are only 17 now,money is taken and I'm being misled,I'm reporting this too trading standards,and as for the Chinese toys that have broken over the Christmas those are going back for full refunds,keep your receipts people day light robbers are prowling,Standards must be questioned or explained when they lower, along with the price.

Rip off company if your going to reduce the amount of cigarettes in the your packets to 17 at least have the courage to put it on your packets, then do the right thing and reduce the price accordingly, very disappointed customer.

Just feel the same as everyone else, but have just looked at my packet before opening. If you look at the barcode side of the packet at the flip top it says 17 cigarettes, but nothing on the packet. I think they should lower the cost more or put in the full 20 that we are paying for, very naughty! If you smoke 20 a day and three short that's 21 cigs a week that's just over £28.00 a month???

Just opened a packet of your cigs and realised that there is only 17 in instead of the usual 20 yet it doesn't . This is very misleading when you ask for your usual brand and then suddenly find you have removed 3 cigarettes yet the price is still the same

I just bought a pack of your cigarettes because the shop didn't have any jps available. I asked the shopkeeper for a 20 pack and only found 17 packed inside. I find it very misleading on the following
- no marking in the box stating it only carried 17 sticks
- size of packaging can carry 20 just as all the other brands
- Facebook description says you are the cheapest brand but the volume of sticks says otherwise

Again I agree with the other complaints NO MARKING on the packet to say there are only y seventeen in the pack! Surly this should be marked on the packet so people can see what they are buying . And decide if they want to buy another product! You make enough money from the smokers of this world and your still tying to make more!! BAN cigarette! As you say they kill people! But NO you make SOO much money you won't do that will you!! The government won't even do it because it makes. Too much money for them too. They moan about the national health having to treat people but they won't ban cigarette will they because they bring to much revenue to the country. They complain about over weight people draining the NHS but you can smoke as much as you like because you give them money,so they can charge what they like. So smokers out there! What would the government do if we were all to stop! Be in the right shit! Where would they get their money from then. Oh, I thought I was going crazy. The last two days I thought I was more than usually start to smoke and I do not remember those moments. Just today, I counted the cigarette in the new pack. There were only 17, but not 20 cigarettes, as it was before. There are two options: move to other cigarettes or stop smoking altogether. I think.

hi i think it is not on at all with puting the 20 of sterling down to 19 then 18 and now 17 with no price drop .and how fast 1 cig bruns down i did a test with sterling dual 17 pack price 6.99.! and got a pack of 18 players ball price 6.14 .and pack of B&H 19 pack. and then i did a test as the sterling brun down so fast when smoked .so i stud 1 steriling up and stud 1 players and i stud 1B&H up and watch them brun down and the out come is not on the sterillig bruned down 3 times faster than the players what cost 85p less a box wiv 1 more cig in a box and B&H 19 pack what cost more but they brun down a lot slower . and then i smoked 1 of each and the players and the B&H bruned down about the same time making your cig last longer . the sterling was no test when you smoke a steling they brun down so fast you have to have 1 just after you have smoked 1.. why do they brun and not last even 2mins at the most when the other 2 brands do last a lot longer when smoked. I WILL NOT BE BUYING STERLING DUAL NO MORE..or the new name sterling dual go in 1 brun...

I am absolutely 'fuming' (as previously mentioned). In the past few days I have bought 2 packs of '20' sterling dual and there has been only 17 in the pack. It does not state this on the pack and the box is clearly more empty than previous purchases. As I write this my friend has checked her pack of '20' sterling super kings and also has only 17. If you are going to change the number of items without changing the price, it should be stated. Another few customers lost! I would be happy to receive any form of repayment!

I amongst the rest of consumers am really "fuming"! I bought a pack, of what I thought were 20 Sterling menthol king size only to discover there were only 17! Think that it should be on the pack that we have been ripped off and since it isn't believe that we should all be given money back under false advertisement.

If you at going to sell 17 fags in a pack of 20 then put on the pack 17 instead I get ripped off asking for 20 and get 17 if I knew there was only 17 in there I would NOT have got these fags what a total rip off all the money u make on the fags yet u still rip ur loyal customers off u should be ashamed of ur self I for one will NOT be buying ur brand of fags again and also I will tell all friends family and even tell everyone in the shop that I see going to buy them not to bother

Disgusted to see 17 fags instead of 20! I asked for 40 and instead I get 34!!!! And Paid almost £15 too! So price goes up n u get less! Disgusting! Smoked this brand for years but these are my last
